Default Teddy Atlas weighs in and ensures Hatton's defeat

I was already picking Manny but then Teddy sealed the deal by picking Hatton.

Its over Hatton fans. The kiss of death.

He also compared Manny coming in at 138 to Oscar coming at 145 and implied that Manny was overtrained/weight drained whatever which I don't buy but I'm incapable of agreeing with Teddy on anything unless he told me he was the most annoying person ever to which I would agree.

Yep. Poor Ricky. This fight is going to ruin him. He'll drink his sorrows away and by next week he'll be 213 pounds.

I wonder how long it will be before some smart fighter launches a lawsuit against Atlas. He is a living breathing voodoo curse

I was thinking the same thing.....I wonder if he has a little stuffed cloth doll with Ricky's image on it, with needles sticking out of it like a porcupine

This is a Pachugger style thread so I'm a little annoyed with it, Oumafan.

Atlas got Williams right so maybe he is on a roll.

Either way nobody should ever start a thread about Teddy Atlas and his predictions. It's so Eastside.

Good lord. I just saw the weigh-in for the first time. Hatton looked like a freaking Aushwitz scapee. I really don't think he'll be the stronger guy tonight. I think he's the one who's going down from the body shot.

Hatton will be significantly heavier than Manny. You do know that, right?

Oumafan, I saw the Atlas review on ESPN about an hour ago, and you are distorting what Atlas said.

For starters, he did not say categorically that Hatton would win. Also, he did not state as fact that it is a problem that Pacquiao came in at 138, but did SUGGEST it as an issue. He also pointed out that Manny may have been getting complacent after the DLH win---and what pacman fan would not be concerned about the terrible crowds and hollywood stars coming to the wildcard gym to see him? Lastly, toward the end of his review, Atlas made a comment to the effect, paraphrasing, "Hatton will have to be real clever/serious, because he's the underdog for a reason."

It is really important not to distort what people say, intrinsically and because then it starts some silly thread based on distortion.

Lol. Actually I always liked Atlas, but here of course the point is being accurate in quoting people in the boxing world. Without that we are talking pure bullshit.

Enjoy the fight man, let's hope it goes a good few rounds.
