1 month ago, almost to the day, we had a day with snow in it. Was on the ground when I woke up. It's been 30C +, basically 90F+ for the last 4 days now.

Guys who work for the company I work for spend 10 hour night shifts underground, manually handling track and ballast down the escalators (which are off), cutting up the tracks with welding gear, relaying the ballast and rewelding new track down there. They do all this with full protective gear on, including respirators.

No ventilation, dusty, mosquitos, rats and using hot lights.

It was 51 degrees centigrade down there last night

Im from London like you mate, and as i said to Miles earlier i have been out and about. Alot for the past few days, looked in the mirror and it looks like i've been in California, so it isn't all bad. But the sleeping part is really frustrating.
