Fuck the offices you wanna try being on an underground train for an hour and a half standing up with no air con.

Horrible and stuffy here and not a fucking drop of sun... fucking typical.
I bet it bursts out as soon as I go to work.
We've already hit over 100' degrees the last few days and the humidity melts you from the inside.Brown outs happening on and off.A/c technicians have waiting lists of up to 1 WEEK![]()
i thought this thread was a joke until i realized you guys are using Celsius..
Can we have some of that heat? We really haven't had summer yet and it's freaking JULY ALMOST!! I've been to the beach once! Last year at this time i had probably logged 30 beach days at this point! Been raining on and off for two weeks and the highest temperature has been 80 degrees give or take..
1 month ago, almost to the day, we had a day with snow in it. Was on the ground when I woke up. It's been 30C +, basically 90F+ for the last 4 days now.
I've never known how to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, but I just looked it up:
To convert Fahrenheit temperatures into Celsius:
Here's an example: Change 95 degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius: 95 minus 32 is 63. Then, 63 divided by 9 is 7. Finally, 7 times 5 is 35 degrees Celsius.
- Begin by subtracting 32 from the Fahrenheit number.
- Divide the answer by 9.
- Then multiply that answer by 5.
To convert Celsius temperatures into Fahrenheit:
Here's an example: Change 20 degrees Celsius to Fahrenheit: 20 times 9 is 180. Then 180 divided by 5 is 36. Finally, 36 plus 32 is 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Begin by multiplying the Celsius temperature by 9.
- Divide the answer by 5.
- Now add 32.

The UK weather seems to have more and more of these spells of freaky weather every year. That kind of weather is too hot for any Englishman.
Guys who work for the company I work for spend 10 hour night shifts underground, manually handling track and ballast down the escalators (which are off), cutting up the tracks with welding gear, relaying the ballast and rewelding new track down there. They do all this with full protective gear on, including respirators.
No ventilation, dusty, mosquitos, rats and using hot lights.
It was 51 degrees centigrade down there last night
That's brutal
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
Stop complaining, it is so rare to have a hot day that we should appreciate it when it comes.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Been shite here so far (during this 'heatwave' anyway)... it's about 25c... which would be perfect... if the fucking sun was out...the air pressure is ridiculously high.
If it's a boiling hot day, but it's crisp and clear and the sun is out it can be as hot as it wants for me... it's when it's close that I hate it.
We had some nice days in a row a few weeks ago and the odd couple here and there since... already more than last year and the year before it combined so I guess I can't complain too much... would like a bit more though...![]()
