But there will forever be speculation because he is a known cheat now and cannot be trusted. He deserves the scorn and taint on his record in my opinion. (I know not everyone will agree). But I'd love to see an asterisk beside his name in any records of history. Just to let future people know, this sport has no place for that kinda thing. People are dying from and living with brain injuries as it is, without the help of a cheat with no concern for rules or others safety.

From the evidence i've seen and heard I would have to say Marg cheated against Cotto.

Kind of reminds me of the Assault in the ring Video by HBO. Except not such a devastating ending!

Richardson was the one who spotted something odd, when the commissioner who was also standing right there hadn't noticed anything. Its very possible that we may not have been able see anything once the wraps were in place.

End of the day I hope he never fights again, he doesn't deserve to make another cent of the sport he disrespected

The bricks were hidden under the wraps as inside the wraps. Did you miss the way Tony was caught? Tony already had his hands wrapped and approved by the commission when Richardson asked if he could touch them and then Richardson said they feel hard, can we have them removed? And when they were removed, out fell the plaster bricks so how would any one with a camera be able to see what is under the wraps if the commission that was standing there supposedly doing there job missed it. Does HBO have xray camera machines now?

Everyone can believe what they want. I don't buy that Margacheato would start cheating at that particular juncture of his career. There is no way anyone can convince me that he had never done that before the Mosley fight. There is no way you are going to take that kind of risk unless you are reasonably confident you are going to get away with it.


I'm glad to see Freddie Roach has come to his senses. It made me sick when he came out and said he believed Margacheato and was going to try to help him get back on his feet, just because Margacheato told him he didn't do it.
