Hello fellas, I'm in for the vacation, what's this rumor I hear about 2012.

After a tough year, I'm at last on a Christmas vacation. Back into the civilization, I heard some nasty rumors about the year 2012 - that's pretty soon. Can anyone here give me any factual, only the factual, basis for the rumor, like this Mayan calendar thing etc. Just wanna know if I should pack up or not. I'm more on the listening mode than on the writing one, kinda suffering from 'writer's block' after a long absence, or maybe just plain lazy. So you folks can run your one-man shows here for me. All right, I'll be listening, fellas...

I've been missing some of you folks here but as I said at the start of the year that I'd have a busy year ahead with some new 'assignments,' I wasn't able to visit here as often as before. Thanks again for not making me talk to a blank wall again. People here are shy I guess to strangers, especially a strange bloke like me coming from some exotic jungle, haha.

I'm relieved a bit to know that it won't be the end, Andre. I heard some rumors like sun bursting, meteors falling, volcanoes erupting and huge flood or deluge coming to earth, and here in the Philippines, there were water all over the place couple months back and now there's a volcano grumbling several miles away from here so I thought these might be the start of the great apocalypse of 2012. Wonder what made some people come up with these rumors...

There will be big changes though, in the way things are run "as above so below", (and we are in the middle remember) and our effects run both ways we have the power to bring heaven down or raise hell up,we were given that but the effects are only felt here the rest of the universe is untouched).

Change means upheaval if you choose to view it that way,so the less material stuff that you try to hang onto the better off you will be,the less fixed judgments you have about what you will see and feel,and so on.

The more false things you try to hold fast to, the worse off you will be,because in the divine reality those things cannot exist and we as you know at the moment exist smack bang in the middle of duality with has poles and limits that we can measure things from within.


You already know exactly what rules everything, which cards beat all others.

I dont have to spell them all out for you here,hold onto them and let all the past go bro, then even if the worse occurs amongst some men while some of the changes take place you will have built within you what they can never take. Many will fight this tooth and nail, many people fear any change to their routine life; right down to their core belifes they fear change even more than they fear death itself and they will fight to keep it. Keep your faith in God that you will be looked after.

Funny you should say that, I believe we all have the same IQ potential; its just that taught things create walls,beliefs and judgments of others are even worse; so some cant use their own as well as some others in some areas.

Some use their genius level for only the things they love or feel comfortable with and so they cant see up other roads as easily as others who choose to look there can.


In that light, I'll share this..

I've heard about this 2012 business, but I'm not sure I buy into any of that. I do think the 21st century will be the century in which some serious shit will go down though and it might well reach the point when the damage becomes too vast to ever consider fixing again (or even getting the opportunity to fix it). We are seeing it somewhat already in the inability to come to terms with the destruction of the environment. 50 years from now, I think we will see catastrohic changes with land lost and populations being forced to resettle in less than desirable locations. The climate will become unpredictable and farming will become increasingly volatile. With populations expected to keep rising, I struggle to see food supplies keeping up with demand. The oceans are already turning to acid and the eco system there, which is already suffering from overfishing, will get much worse.

Of course, the have nots will suffer and wither first, but the havoc will spread its way upwards. The elite will be okay, and many will see out the century, but it won't be an enviable life. And that's just the environmental issues, let's not even go into the possibilities of what might befall us politically. China, a country with no human rights, territorial demands and which pretty much owns America will be looking to be the player in the coming century. I can't see that resulting in anything positive.

The coming century will be a bleak one and I'm quite thankful that I probably won't see it out. I don't want any part in the mess that we call 'human civilisation'. It isn't very human nor very civilised. We are like ants ready for a cup of hot water to wash us all away.

I don't know, I don't think people are born "stupid" necessarily but some people have natural aptitudes for some things and others don't and vice versa. I tested off the charts ( ok I tested very highly) for reading comprehension and things like that but I'm a moron when it comes to math. Of course if I had smoked less pot and worked harder I would have done much better in math courses and basically figured it out but some people just understood it naturally much quicker than I did.

I usually don't believe these types of grim forecasts but what scares me is the supposed accuracy of their past forecasts, they're all listed on the lower part of the article. I don't see it happening but anything can happen, especially now when they world seems to be in a state of confusion, economically, environmentally... ...hope not though...

Alright, obviously the Mayans never said anything about world ending in 2012. At the worst, the cut-off year on their calendar might just mean that one time cycle or 'era' will pass and a 'new' one coming, perhaps with some big changes. Maybe not but how do we explain the coincidence between the time of the end of the Mayan calendar with the prediction target year of a reputable (he seems so, check it out below) socio-economic forecaster Gerald Celente who's the CEO of an equally reputable institution Trend Research Institute? It's hard to ignore his credentials:

Hope you all had a wonderful holidays. My vacation time is almost up so time for my parting shot.I'd say I'm more thrilled than anything else anticipating the big iffy come 2012. I wonder what kind of surprises are in store for that year, if any at all. Will it be the end? heck no. Or will there be anything unusual? I really have no inkling so far of anything unusual to come. But if there's any sort of 'chaos' as forecasted by Celente, no doubt it's because of human excesses, a warning perhaps. Then, it will be time for atonement for mankind, and there must be a drastic change. Man has been destroying the environment for economic greed for so many years. And maybe, it's payback time. If the 'chaos' is meant to jolt us to our sense and to make necessary changes, so be it. I have no problem with that. I think it's something we have to face anyway, sooner or later, and the sooner, the better, I guess. So I say let's get on with it. With that, I'll end my random rambling here for now... Hope the brand new year will be a better one for you all out there, again, lovers and non-lovers alike (I don't like to use the word hater)...

Every 2-3 years they announce the end of the world. To me, it is getting like a routine, they announce it, they retwitch their calendar and we're good for another round. Same old same old. According to 220 Dates for the End of the world!!! Date Setters!, I did survive 89 end of the world till this day. Not bad at all, as a friend of mine said, I think I'll put that in my resume.
