Default Now Floyd Apologizes for his rant against Pacman...

This guy really needs to see a shrink for a bi-polar diagnosis.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. apologizes for Manny Pacquiao rant, says he was 'just having fun' - ESPN

"I love everybody," Mayweather said. "Some of my guys are Muslim. Some of my guys are Jews. Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Mexicans, white, it doesn't matter. There's nothing but love in my heart, you know what I'm saying? So I heard this from a few people. The only thing I want to say is, if anybody who was affected by what I said the other day, I apologize as a man. I apologize.

"Forgive me for saying what I said. I was just having fun. I didn't really mean it. Nothing in a bad way. So let's stay on this roller-coaster ride and keep riding, baby. It's all love."

Floyd is a product of the diseased racist backbone of the US. Its the mentality of some of the ignorant black Americans that believe they can be racist against everyone else then scream foul when its reciprocated. Such BHOP's "white boy" comment.

And before anyone starts with the nonsense about my "ignorant black Americans" remarks citing it as racist, well let's just say in America I'd be lumped together with Floyd not because of being a like mind, but because of the hue my skin.

I think this whole racist thing is being taking way out of proportion and context. Why is there such a big need to call foul on racism, and not other discriminatory remarks? It seems hypocritical to me that everything else is fair game, but racism is where people draw the line. I don't think racism should be condoned, but why aren't criticizing people for other derogatory remarks? I don't think Mayweather is actually racist, he just probably got carried away in the moment, and thought he was funny. He obviously wasn't, but that doesn't mean he has some hatred towards asian people. That's where I think the line should be drawn. When something is said in jest I don't think people should take as personally as when something is said in hatred. I am just surprised people on here are getting so worked about this. It's like Jimmy the greek talking about how he felt black people were better athletes, and everyone flipped out about it. I think its ridiculous that people are so anal about any mention of ethnicity. It's people who draw those lines that segragate us as people. Honestly to me, there are differences between every person from one to the next, a difference in skin color doesn't really make me think somebody is any more different than another person based on height. Obviously you have to be cogniscent of people's cultures, but to focus so specifically on race makes me wonder why you are so hung up on the whole racial thing. I guess maybe here in Canada we don't deal with the same issues that people have elsewhere.

And BECAUSE you don't have to deal with these issues, you don't understand why people get so worked up about it. Understandable I guess. It doesn't make it any less wrong, however. Racism equals ignorant dislike, so it's wrong. And indefensible. Floyd is an idiot, by any yardstick used to measure idiotism. To say otherwise is to turn a blind eye to what he does. He's an adult, for crying out loud. Where does he get off thinking that because he's Floyd "Pretty Boy" Mayweather he can get away with all the ignorant, childish things he says and does? Because his fans think he walks on water? Wrong. He needs to grow up and act like a professional. There's plenty of fighters out there who don't resort to this sort of crap to get attention.

Guy, that's taeth you're talking to. I used to give him shit about having Floyd's balls in his mouth, but now it's clear that he really does have Floyd's balls somewhere near his mouth. Floyd is my third favorite fighter of all time, but by no means do I hold his personality in a high regard. In fact none of them. Just like RJJ is my all time fav, but I think he's a moron outside of the ring for his dogfighting bullshit.

I can't believe he's really trying to find a defense for Floyd as it pertains to his idiotic remarks. Floyd ignorant ass has children that are far too young to even try to explain the complexities of politics to. What's funny is that obviously someone around Floyd told him that he went too far because he issued an apology. So while you (Taeth) dreams about being a Floyd flunky his actual flunkies told him that what he did was overboard. What taeth is suggesting is that by putting boundaries up around racism it only contributes to it, which kinda makes sense, but still Floyd's a fucking idiot because he was crying a while back about not being as much of star because he's black.

The potential Fight is already large enough, I believe that Floyd is really is hoping to have the all time highest PPV when it does come off, that's why he's already starting his nonsense. Floyd wants people to hate him so they'll tune in to hope he get's kayoed. I want to see him lose because he's a fucking idiot, but he still wont get my 60 bucks because he will easily beat pacman anyhow...

Are you fucking serious? I don't know where you live in Canada, but endemic racism towards First Nations people is a pretty common thing here in BC and pretty much everywhere else I've gone in the country. This is something which is demonstrated throughout our history.

That's good Floyd. But I don't think people are buying it.

You were just having fun?.. That's your fucking excuse?

Oh so, if I call someone a ... and follow up with more insults... and apologizes the next day...

Then everything will be alright. Right?

Hey, it's no biggie. I was just having fun.

Floyd's team promotes fights with the belief that if he were white he'd be making double for the fights he participates in, but since he isn't they choose to make him the villian i.e. Mike Tyson after he got with Don King who is one of the best promoters in history because he understood that America will always be a racist society.

See the film "Great White Hype" for a funny but very accurate look at the boxing promotion world.

okay, so mayweather jr. has issued an apology. at least he was man enough to apology for the stupid things he said. what he said was bad and uncalled for but his comments weren't nearly as racists as what he's been called by hoards of pacquiao fans, and i haven't read an apology from not one of his fans. in fact, pacquiao's fans have not only been saying racists things about mayweather jr. but about all blacks as well. let's stop the hypocrisy and give mayweather jr. just a little credit for manning up and issuing that apology.

...or he just issued an apology due to the backlash of his actions, pretty much the same shit that happened with Berto when he made jokes about the Valero situation

Do you happen know any of those Pacquiao fans? Are they asians, white, latino? How do you know for sure that they're not Mayweather fans giving Manny or his fans some bad reps? Have you actually seen them?

I'll tell you what I saw. I saw Floyd Mayweather Jr on UStream making racist comments.

What about you? What do you got? Where's your proof?

    Hilarious.

Pac should be held accountable for the opinion of certain Pac fans?

For fuckssake, nobody one here - Pacfan or otherwise - has been posting that kind of shit. In fact, you seen determined to bring up as many anti-black racial slurs as you can in these threads.

People post all kinds of racist shit all over the internet, it's not confined to one race or one group of boxing fans .

Could you back up this accusation? Could you post some links so that we know that you are not making things up?
