I think this whole racist thing is being taking way out of proportion and context. Why is there such a big need to call foul on racism, and not other discriminatory remarks? It seems hypocritical to me that everything else is fair game, but racism is where people draw the line. I don't think racism should be condoned, but why aren't criticizing people for other derogatory remarks? I don't think Mayweather is actually racist, he just probably got carried away in the moment, and thought he was funny. He obviously wasn't, but that doesn't mean he has some hatred towards asian people. That's where I think the line should be drawn. When something is said in jest I don't think people should take as personally as when something is said in hatred. I am just surprised people on here are getting so worked about this. It's like Jimmy the greek talking about how he felt black people were better athletes, and everyone flipped out about it. I think its ridiculous that people are so anal about any mention of ethnicity. It's people who draw those lines that segragate us as people. Honestly to me, there are differences between every person from one to the next, a difference in skin color doesn't really make me think somebody is any more different than another person based on height. Obviously you have to be cogniscent of people's cultures, but to focus so specifically on race makes me wonder why you are so hung up on the whole racial thing. I guess maybe here in Canada we don't deal with the same issues that people have elsewhere.
