    Default Mayweather

Is he actually going to ever get beat?

He's got to get old at some point, though with the limited damage he has taken I could honestly see him being another Hopkins.

I know one thing, Ortiz isn't beating him.

I dont think so. Like CFH said, he could be another Hopkins... We're not talking about no Roy jones here who became nothing once he got old and didnt have the fundamentals to fall back on.. Floyd is well schooled and he can stay like fine wine as long he doesn't lose hunger.

I'll have the same conclusion IF he beats Manny first.

See. Floyd knows his shoulder roll defense technique would be completely useless against Pac. How can Floyd win against a guy who's got the ability to unleash 80-100 punches per round with such accuracy and precision?

As much as I dont like Floyd, he can talk and he can fight. Like was said with his Hopkin esque safety first style I dont see alot of miles on him. I think Floyd easily beats ortiz and pacquaio if they fought. I wont be pulling for Floyd in either fight though.

There are hundreds of questions that can be asked regarding a Mayweather - Pacquiao fight.

eg. How does Floyd handle Pacquiao's southpaw stance, straight left, punch output, punching angles, etc.

How does Pacquiao handle Mayweather's defense, straight right, his jab, his inside fighting, etc.

That's what makes the fight so interesting. The fight can go so many different ways and in fight, there would have to be alot of adapting from both fighters.

    By not standing still.

You can't throw punches in bunches if your opponent is constantly changing angle and range. It's easier to chase an old Mosley/Oscar, a plodding Margarito or simply have a guy walk straight towards you like Hatton did than a guy who can move with purpose like floyd

That's an easy one.. Manny gets hit often and countered, the shoulder roll is an offensive mechanism too.. Believe me while PAC is trying to Peck away at the shoulder roll PAC will eat clean left hooks and rights on the rebound..

How can manny win against a taller/ longer, better balanced, and better boxer with the ability to land crisp punches at over 60% accuracy all without being hit flush himself?

I don't think it will be as easy as people say. This kid Ortiz has good power and not withstanding the Maidana war he has heart and keeps coming even when he's been floored. As long as he is not intimidated I think he has a really good chance. I won't bet against Floyd but I see a lot of rocky moments for him in beating Ortiz.
