I'll have the same conclusion IF he beats Manny first.

See. Floyd knows his shoulder roll defense technique would be completely useless against Pac. How can Floyd win against a guy who's got the ability to unleash 80-100 punches per round with such accuracy and precision?

As much as I dont like Floyd, he can talk and he can fight. Like was said with his Hopkin esque safety first style I dont see alot of miles on him. I think Floyd easily beats ortiz and pacquaio if they fought. I wont be pulling for Floyd in either fight though.

    agree with these comments fella.

I dont agree with the cowardly act of shooting defenceless animals and posing with them on your bonnet.
A real man will use his hands and not pull triggers.
No offence. But hunting for sport is one of the most cowardly acts on this earth

I see what people are getting at with the Hopkins thing but if he is gona be like Hopkins then the answer to whether Mayweather will lose or not is simply yes. Hopkins has lost 3 times since he turned 40 and can be outpointed by volume punching types after he slowed down some.

There are hundreds of questions that can be asked regarding a Mayweather - Pacquiao fight.

eg. How does Floyd handle Pacquiao's southpaw stance, straight left, punch output, punching angles, etc.

How does Pacquiao handle Mayweather's defense, straight right, his jab, his inside fighting, etc.

That's what makes the fight so interesting. The fight can go so many different ways and in fight, there would have to be alot of adapting from both fighters.

You gotta take risks to get beat. PBF is not a risk-taker, at least not at this stage of his career. He's bent on retiring undefeated, and he's not above doing a little ducking to accomplish that. Pure and simple.

    By not standing still.

You can't throw punches in bunches if your opponent is constantly changing angle and range. It's easier to chase an old Mosley/Oscar, a plodding Margarito or simply have a guy walk straight towards you like Hatton did than a guy who can move with purpose like floyd

IMO Floyd is too clever to lose. He aint gonna take a fight he might lose and he will retire if he thinks he is becoming vunerable.

Much as I love Manny, I think Floyd will 'handle' him!!

That's an easy one.. Manny gets hit often and countered, the shoulder roll is an offensive mechanism too.. Believe me while PAC is trying to Peck away at the shoulder roll PAC will eat clean left hooks and rights on the rebound..

I dont like Floyd either but i'd hate to see him lose any other way than a severe beating in an all out war or totally outpointed or both.
If he gets tagged and Ortiz gets in a lucky shot, our world will be full of " Oh yeah buts'.

I want him tested out to the max not beat on an off day or by luck.
