Default When Carl Froch won the World Title....3 Times

    vs Pascal
    vs Abraham
    vs Bute

Now that is some list to win 3 world titles against especially when in 2 of them Froch was the underdog (Abraham , Bute). I think even against Pascal both were around even money.

Froch is a credit to the sport but especially here in the UK where finally he is getting the widespread recognition.

To also think that Froch could potentially fight Kessler again then if he wins Bute in Canada just shows that Froch is the type of fighter that IF many were like him....the sport would be in a better place.

I personally think he will win a close decision vs Kessler and will again KO Bute in Canada although later in the fight. After that i know it would be hard to retire at the top of his game BUT Froch really even right now has nothing to prove...ONLY a fight for a title at 175 could be the swansong that this warrior bows out as a 4 time 2 weight world champion.

How do you rate Froch's 3 title winning efforts

    1. Pascal - excellent war with 2 young up and coming world class fighters teeing off for 12 rounds , the fact that Pascal has went to to win a world title makes Froch win look better.

    2. Abraham - Froch was not expected to win especially as he was AWAY in Finland for this fight , Totally dominated Abraham basically winning every round , the nature of this beating was shocking to many.

    3. Bute - i dont think i read anybody saying that Froch would destroy this undefeated champion early , but that what he did. I tought Froch would win on points as Bute was untested against the elite of 168..i did think it would be close though 116-112 or 115-113 like scores. To destroy him in 5 was i think Froch best performance of his career.

    Thoughts?

I love Froch - Pascal beating dawson so easily and taking bhop to the wire twice also enhances what he did in my mind -

I would still say kessler froch would be about evens, I love Kessler too - But where has that old one two gone (just look at Kess v Bayer & Andrade in comparison to Kess vs green) which I think givers froch a good shot.

Would love to see him fight ward as froch (i dont think) has ever had a rematch, and that was the least effective he has been since dirrell

I just wish he got more attention, were ricky hatton to of had his fights (i love hatton to!) Hatton would have been the biggest star ever to have been produced from Britain no doubt!

I dont remember Froch being the underdog against Abraham?

In fact, Abrahams first loss was against Dirrell and I said Abraham would lose as he just isnt strong enough for super middle. Then somehow you have him as favourite going in to afight withFroch who beat Dirrell?

Ross Froch was teh underdog because he was coming off a loss aswell vs Kessler and was fighting away in finland , Yep Abraham was away from hoem but this was Abraham's promotional outfit that was staging the fight

Froch fought on even terms with Kessler where Abraham was made to look small and slow by Dirrell, Abraham was also dropped. Id be very suprised if any bookies had Abraham the favourite going in to this fight.

Im very sure mate , remember Froch beat Dirrell but many including me had him losing , then he loses vs Kessler (i had froch winning by 1 ) , Froch plain refused to fight in Germany so Finland was sought But still he was the underdog because of his previous 2 performances..many felt he lost the 2 of them

Frochs world title performances were amazing, my favourite one does have to be the Bute one because I personally thought Bute would have been more of a challenge. I did not expect Froch to be able to steamroll Bute and it was so good to see it really does prove to a lot of people who doubted Froch after the Ward loss that he really is a great champion.

I really do want to see him fight Kessler next though, as I have said before Dirrell doesn't deserve shit after his negativity. Froch - Kessler 2 would be a war and I think Froch has it in him to win it if it's in the Uk.

At 175, Froch did promise Pascal a rematch down the line and If he does the business against Cloud there's always that option? Froch might also want to face the winner of Dawson-Ward. I don't know how Froch would shape up in a rematch for Ward, personally I think Ward is too good of a boxer for Froch as he proved in the first fight, but after the Bute performance if Froch makes adjustmants and starts fast like he did against Bute, you never know how the rematch could go?

Froch is in fantastic shape though and whatever fight comes his way we all know he will be up for it and he will bring what the fans want to see. I can't wait for his next fight !!
