    Default Welcome to Cain's era.

Many of you though Junior had this in that bag well little did you know Cain was coming to spoil the party!

The only guy I thought had somewhat of a chance against Cain was Junior now after last nights domination no one I repeat NO ONE in the the UFC can beat him when he is injury free and focused.

Enjoy the ride because it's going to be along one. Should be Overeem next if he beat Silva.

I actually fancied Cain in this one. There isn't a better all round Heavyweight in the world than Velasquez. Overeem will provide a slightly different set of problems but not something Cain can't deal with.

On a side note, I hear that if Werdum beats Nogueira he will get the Velasquez-Overeem winner so it should be a while before we get a 3rd fight.

Overeem is going to be a dangerous fight for him, but if cain can get past the early explosiveness like he did with JDS, he'll maul Overeem. Overeem's muscled physique is going to go against him and make him gas out quick.

I'm not really sure what Reem does better than JDS. He is probably a little more versatile of a striker but I don't think he has any more power and I don't think his handspeed/footwork is better. He is bigger and stronger but I don't think his tdd is tremendously better if at all. His cardio is what would worry me. Reem is a big talented striker so he isn't an easy out for Cain or JDS but my money would be on Cain.

JDS probably has the better hands, but Overeem is much better at everything else. Cain is going to have to mind his P's and Q's against Overeem, because if he telegraphs his shot as much as he did against JDS, Reem can time him coming in with a knee. Reem is also stronger and more effective in the clinch. So getting inside on Reem will be much more dangerous, and once he is inside it won't be as easy to control Reem and avoid damage as it was with JDS.

That being said, if Cain can get inside and really push Reem, I think he'll wear Reem down quicker than he did JDS.

Overeem doesn't have as good a chin as JDS does, either.

    It's a VERY interesting fight.

Overeem will drop like a house of cards when he feel's Cain's power or he will gas and be thrown around for 5 rounds!

Yes yes because you like Cain that automatically means that Reem is not a top heavyweight and would magically just be KO'd in less than a minute (the same way Cain himself was against JDS the first go round).

Cain, JDS, and Alistair are all top heavyweights and top strikers with enough power to knock each other out on any given night.

We'll see how Reem looks in his comeback against lop dick Silva, admittedly it will be hard for Reem to do much better against the mongoloid savage than Cain did.
