its very hard to find him a good fight. Going by how poor he was tonight they are not gonna want let him near Broner, Abril or Shafikov. So I guess that only leaves Vasquez at lightweight for him.

Bogere could be a fight for him. Im suyre hed come to Scotland and would be a decent fight.

Burns will never face Broner or Vazquez now. He was getting dominated by a fringe prospect. He's lucky Gonzalez is a boricua. Cuz if he wasn't Burns is no longer champion

Im not surprised he looked this poor against an unknown.. BEing the B- level fighter that he is, he needs to stay away from elite oppositions at all costs and just milk his paper title in scotland..

No wonder his managment hid him from Broner all this time. They know his limitation.

Imagine what Vazquez would have done to him.

Broners moved up, and burns beats Vazquez.

Remember they had 0 footage of Gonzales. He had a big reach and used it well.

There was 2 videos of him on YouTube before the fight. They should have known what to expect

I think burns would beat shafikov, fairly easily too, not much point fighting him just now though.. I think burns should pick some good match ups that will allow him to chase broner and then hopefully get a big money fight v broner and cash out :S..... he will make a lot of money from a broner fight and no use hiding from him even though he will probably lose..

Burns seems to always pull somthing out of the hat and get through fights, but can't see him going any further unless broner stays at a higher weight and vacates his belt

Yea sraped by the chap before that but not sure how seriously he trained for that. In saying that, apart from Martinez, Burns has fought no one of note compared to Vasquez. It should be notes that Vasquez has only lost to Bradley and Alvarez. No shame there at all

I don't really see Vasquez giving to much trouble for Burns. Burns has a better jab and straight hand, and would easily outscore him. Remember that Vasquez doesn't have power. Abril would be a hard fight. How about Demarco? Wow, the lightweight division sucks at the moment.
