problem is Brock , Benn wasn't a SMW in his prime , he was a better Middle I think , but he has a punchers chance for sure.

I think their fight(Benn-Barkley) might suggest he was a bit more dangerous for a while. I'd pick Calzaghe but he could've gotten caught and put away as well.

you cannot compare Barkley with Calzaghe skillwise, Barkley was just a slow slugger with power, but not ring thinking.

Calzaghe had a rock solid chin in his prime, its only as he got into the latter stages of his career that he started feeling the punches

Joe wins due to his speed n work rate, but it's a tough fight for him. I think Prime Eubank would've been a more interesting fight. Joe was kinda chinny. Chris wasn't nearly as active, but was clever, set effective traps, n could stop a guy with one shot. Prime Toney vs Joe is interesting also but I lean towards Joe out hustling him while never hurting him.

Benn was at his very best against the G Man at supermiddle as he was experienced fighter and that version would have give Joe problems. However Cazaghe could adjust his game and that would be the difference, he was a level above Nigel but I could see the fight go to points. Both too good to be stopped by one another.
