Well, there are ways to "Stiffen" gloves- gloves with foam and/or gloves with down-padding. Easier with down-padding.

Just put heat over the gloves to loosen it up... the padding becomes loose and easier for the knuckles to press through the foam.

Or, you can, after you warm them up, dip them in cold freezer air or water, and let them stiffen. This is harder to get away with... but you will knock someone the fuck out like you had on brass knucks.
