Default Joshua Clottey- the odd man out!

    Lost to Margarito

    Beat Corrales

    Lost to Pacman

    Beat up Mundine

    Split loss to Cotto

    DQ loss to Baldomir

Where do we put him in this Jr. LM mix?

I dislike Clottey for his miserable effort against Manny Pac. That was so bad he did not deserve another pay day.

But he WAS fighting Manny. Not exactly an easy feat. Ya know? You made it seem as if he had opened up he would have won, or something like that??!?!

The only thing Josh would have gotten was what Cotto, Rios, Margarito and Mosely got- either knocked out or beat up in the face so, so badly that he would need reconstructive surgery.

But it was a lame effort and you get one opportunity to be a superstar and he did not take it. The other fighters you mentioned deserve their money.

Does Floyd really earn every dollar he makes? He fought Manny... I can give him a pass on that.

I really like Clotty - fantastic defence - very very underated.

But as Master said - he did not take his big opportunities - and he did not come out of his (admittedly very very good) defensive shell when he was way behind on points - it's a shame.

Having said that I thought he beat Cotto.

I wish he could have fought a true knockout artist - just to see if they could put a dent in him

I thought the fight against Margie was shameful. He had that fight if he had any desire to be great. But no, he would rather protect himself

To me he is just a disappointment. He has a mentality to just cover up as soon a punch arrive. I mean, to be great and win you have to take some shots in the noggin to deliver one that will change your career forever and enshrine you in the IBHOF.
