But it was a lame effort and you get one opportunity to be a superstar and he did not take it. The other fighters you mentioned deserve their money.

I really like Clotty - fantastic defence - very very underated.
But as Master said - he did not take his big opportunities - and he did not come out of his (admittedly very very good) defensive shell when he was way behind on points - it's a shame.
Having said that I thought he beat Cotto.
I wish he could have fought a true knockout artist - just to see if they could put a dent in him
Just saw that he is on undercard of Canelo v Kirkland tomorrow night. Taking on Jorge Silva who is by all accounts shot to shat in very short order. If HBO airs this they should be embarrassed
He's a very good fighter and physically a tank, but he doesn't have the will to be a top guy and it makes him really frustrating to watch. If he felt punches a bit more than he did(basically not at all), he'd probably be the type to quit on his stool. Agree about his fights with Margarito and Pacquiao, but I did think he could have got the nod over Cotto, and he looked pretty good taking Mundine apart a while back. Seems likely he'd be Canelos next opponent after they both win their gimme's tomorrow, not sure I care to see that.
Clottey won today, don't think hbo showed it, they are showing some old guys duking it out from last week
