Yep, it was his lack of power that told. He just couldn't hit Golovkin hard enough to make him think twice. It was a gutsy showing. Murray is a tough guy.

GGG is an amazing fighter and can take the wind out of anyone's sails at his weight, but I'm sure Murray made every one proud who saw his performance, even though some of us might have doubted his sanity a bit.

GGG has a quirky way of punching. All the power seems to come at the last minute and at a strange angle. He must be incredibly fit to keep on throwing those bombs for the full 11 rounds.

Murray is a tough SOB it's a pity he had to face GGG, but he gave him a fight Martin took a
lot of hurtful punches, and I hope Murray has not had the fight beaten out of him,! the ref
this week done the correct thing,! in stepping in as Martin was spent.

Yes, he is a wonderful fighter. His combination punching is sublime and he is technically so solid. It's going to take someone very special to beat him. Golovkin has the mindset of a winner and it oozes through his pores.

Yes I agree. There is no reason not to like him and enjoy watching him fight. I've found that when a talented puncher like GGG or even Wilder come along, it is much more satisfying to hop on the bandwagon and root for them rather than bitterly wait until they lose to say "I told you so".
