I said pre prison which means before he went in prison. After he came out he was a shell of a fighter and he only won the title because he was with King And carefully managed to avoid Lewis.

I like how this devolved into a Tyson vs The Klitschko's thread....say what you will about either side 'Smokin' Joe Frazier was never an easy fight, even Foreman will admit that.

...Also just to point this out Wlad has fought (and beat) more southpaws than any other heavyweight champion. So from a strict style standpoint, Wlad has had more thrown at him.

The Tony Tucker that Tyson faced would beat everyone that the Klitschkos have

Just like your blinkered that the Klitschkos are good (and not the fact there is just not the challengers out there like there was 15 plus years ago). You are also blinkered almost programmed to not give Tyson any props. I think it comes from how popular he was and its almost gawdy to mention Tyson in any greatest lists or give him any credit.

Like anyone who lost to Tyson was instantly crap. Mike beat Holmes but then Holmes became a better fighter after Mike smashed him and he beat Mercer? No way Holmes comes in unprepared with his ego.

Frazier had a style that made Ali work but no matter how good your chin is, if its there to be hit it will be against that young Tyson, as Holmes found out.Mike cleaned up a division and fought everyone in that division over a few years and left no question as to who the best was andbecause he was so greatly skilled he made everyone he fought look pedestrian. Its only when he didnt do the things that put him on those experts in the eighties greatest lists that he relied on his more physical assets of power and taking a shot but he just didnt have the same desire. Much unlike Morales who is the opposite. He has desire up to his eyeballs andthe skill is still there but his physical assets are letting him down.

OK, get this correct ross, I give Tyson plenty of "props" but I'm realistic about his career and honestly he didn't have 1 single challenge until AFTER he was out of prison. But he still lost and looked human before he went to prison and you can take all of Tyson's pre-prison opponents and the Klitschko's dominate them too.

You can complain about who the Klitschko's have in their era but the FACT is they'd fight anyone in their era, they'd give anything to have what Tyson had the opportunity to fight (and chose not to) post prison.
