I'm being cruel, Mormeck was much younger and greener when Haye stopped him. He clearly hadn't peaked yet.
I didn't like the matchup, never said I did. I am not giving Wlad any huge amount of credit or anything, he got a stoppage early on in the fight....works for me.

On to the next fight man...Arreola, Thompson, Povetkin, Seth Mitchell...whoever is ready.

Mormeck landed 0.75 punches per round.

Well, whatever. Maybe the next fight should be against a heavyweight.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

That's funny Killer, i'll have to watch the replay, but I believe it might have been 0.50 punches per round or 2.0 punches total during the 4 rounds.

Overall it was an outstanding performance by Jean-Marc. I especially liked his little touch at the end of the fight, Wlady clocks the Frenchman with a big right hand, Jean patiently holds his place while Wlad smacks him with another punch that knocks him down and out. It's rare that you see that level of discipline, it must be a French thing.

Surely people are excited about Haye again? His last fight a few weeks ago was a decent showing.

Amat - I still owe you a sig bet from a year ago
I totally forget about this? I mean I remember you as a poster but what was it for? I don't ever remember making a sig bet, hopefully you mean I won? haha cool deal.

Looks like mastering Tyson's style didn't work for Mormeck, maybe he should have tried punching as well. I was shocked that Wladimir actually stopped him in 4, I though he would still be jabbing till the 6th.

Yes your right that would be a total insult for a scrub like you, to be confused or compared to a legend like me.

Enjoying the banter by the way.

Mormeck gave a worse account of himself than Fraudley Harrison did vs Haye. What a complete joke of a fight.

It wouldn't surprise me if Evander Holyfield was offered a shot before the end of 2012.

In fact, every decent cruiserweight of the last 25 years better keep their mobile phones switched on; Carlos DeLeon, Ossie Ocasio, hell, Johnny Nelson still looks like he can go 12.

Team Klitschko is going to be giving one of them a call in the coming months.
