Its just plain to see that he has skills. He puts nice combinations together. Hes not a pot shotter that doesnt make for an interesting fight like Haye or Wlad. He doesnt just stand there or lean on the ropes like Stiverene and wait for someone to press him. He diesnt bore you to death like Pulev, Slis or Thompson. He can fight at a pace, hes tough, quick and as in the Abell fight, his timing and reflexes are still getting better. Hes looking sharp. Another few months in camp Hes also going to have a 12 rounder with Carlos Takam. The man will be frightening for Chisora, if he doesnt pull out (this is based on him being a Warren fighter and a WBO shot landing in his lap before the Fury fight).

How many heavyweights nowadays do you even see mixing uppercuts and hooks who can fight inside and move and jab at range?

Stiverene and Arreola? Dont make me laugh! Stiverene is a fatter version of Berto and has a loss and a draw already that he couldnt be bothered to avenge. Arreola got beat up by little old Adamek.

Wilder? Only a couple of fights ago he was so sloppy he fell over and couldnt hit a barn door! His last fight isnt even worth mentioning but the fight before he got wobbled by a simple jab by someone Fury fought as a novice!

Abell isnt the best but Fury used him as a warm up and gave him about a months notice. Compare that to Oulev giving him a days notice and getting dropped, losing the first two roumds and taking longer to finish it. If Pulev is the one with skills and a better defence, how did he get dropped and lose rounds? Fury toyed with Abell and finished it when he pleased. I believe they purposefully let it go to the 4th as it was clear any time Fury wanted to he had Abell hurt. They wanted a few roumds but wanted to end it quicker than Pulev could muster up.
Fury is good, but you rate him higher than he deserves.
Even I could land an uppercut if I have one hand behind my 10 year old grandson's head. Lol
I like Fury, considering the current heavies he's good, he'll fight anyone, he's entertaining in and out of the ring (more so out), really believes on himself and that confidence intimidates other fighters.
I do not believe Fury, or any heavy, would carry another fighter in the
ring as they all realize it just takes one punch to turn a fight around.
Stop seeing what you want to see in the ring, take off those rose colored glasses and take a good look.
Ross, and I'm being serious now, when you finally find out Fury isn't "The One" please don't do anything self destructive.
