I finished reading Ricky Hattons autobiography last week and in it Hatton claims him and Rooney spoke on the phone....Rooney wanted to have a sparring session with Hatton. Hatton retorted that Rooney ate too many pies...

His Dad I beleive if my memory serves me right Boxed in the 70s and was a very good Amatuer, think he represented England a few times not sure if he went Pro though.
