Boring match between Argentina v Switzerland until the last 5 minutes.

I think Colombia do Brazil next weekend or whenever it is. I think the big teams have all been lucky in this round. Germany, Argies, France, Holland and so on. It's about time some of the big teams went out because none of them are anything outstanding compared to the other teams in the last 16. I'd like to see and underdog win it but basically anybody but the Germans. Fucking Asians.

Absolute heartbreak. I'm proud of the guys, Belgium is simply the better team, but they never gave up and played with heart for 120 minutes.

I was going mental US played like crap for 100+ minutes belgium was totally dominating if that is possible in a nil nil game, another goalie and that is most likely a 5 -0 game, Us wakes up in last 20 minutes where the f was that performance all game...oh well.

man they didnt give up but i felt like they played super slugish and disconcentrated literally not ablt to keep the ball for even five min at a time and howard had to shoulder em way to much

It's the Bradley effect, when he's off the whole team is off. Also, Belgium is a very good team, have to give them credit as well, the speed, power and technique are great.

they're good but for parts of the game they looked like a team consisting purely of the all time greats playing a junior team but US did wake up eventually but a tad bit late, and as you said they never did give up and i am sure gave it theyre all, Howard is a beast!

I think harnessing Michael Bradleys output during a game could solve the worlds energy problems. Incredible athlete. The genius free kick deserved a goal, reminded me of the one we conceeded against Argentina in 98 (I think). Very clever.

Belgium look good in spats. Are they going to get it together for a proper performance and mangle someone?
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
