There are 2 people delighted about this. Lee because no matter what happens , he's still the champ and that means another big pay day against Saunders, who doesn't have to fight Quillen in the States for less money. And Saunders accepted step aside money I believe. You couldn't make it up!

Do we need any more proof that he was unfit to wear that title anyway. I cant get on him too much because at least he relinquished the title before. He could do the same now but that kind of puts andy lee out of a pay check too. While a pound and a half is not grossly overweight why do i get the feeling this was a "eff it... if you make you make it" conversation between Quillen and Haymon...

Exactly. He's already a defacto champion in his mind since he never lost his belt in the ring. So Haymon says do whatever gives you the best chance to win impressively and I'll have another date lined up right away.

It's hard for me to believe Haymon would have anything to do with these antics, as someone suggested.
