I don't agree with much that Bill has to say........

....... but I must say I'm in total agreement with his assessment of Suzanne Pleshette.

(The picture is not bad, either).

Suzanne Pleshette ......... A very under-rated sex-pot. She was 'smoking'.

My wife was her double I remember Suzanne was in a movie playing an indian girl
We'd watched the movie had left & gone for dinner at a restaurant. These two kids came up to us & said " Can we have your autograph please" My wife said " Who do you think I am"? They said " Suzanne Pleshette " They wouldn't believe she wasn't LOL

Who was 'prettier'. Cassius Clay or Suzanne Pleshette ?

While I do have to say, Cassius was a very handsome man. And quite possibly
the best looking of all the Professional Boxers from 1961 thru 1967.

But remember, he got fat and 'tubbed it up' in 1968.

So l have to go with Suzanne Pleshette.

    Her 'prime years'> 1957 thru 1971 {Ages 20 thru 34}. > A very strong 14-Year run.

    Height ............. 5' 4'
    Weight ............ 130 lbs. {Later years > 137 lbs.}
    Hair ................ Dark Brown
    Eyes ............... Gray-Blue
    Shape ............. 37 ~ 26 ~ 38
    'Newharts' ....... 'C'

In my previous post I stated that Suzanne was 'smoking'.

That was a reference to her 'raspy voice' which she got by smoking {2 1/2 Packs} of cigarette's
    a day since she was {Age; 18}.

She died of Lung Cancer on January 19, 2008 ......... just shy of {Age; 70}.

Yeah... I remember that raspy voice. Used to find it sexy. Unfortunately, didn't realize she had died from lung cancer.
    Shame.....

    Fun Filled Fact #1966

The producers of 'Batman' originally wanted 29 year-old Suzanne Pleshette to play 'Catwoman' in 1966.

Suzanne worked out for 3-Weeks straight, dieted and lost 12 lbs. for the 'promo shoot'.

But she turned down the offer, as contract negotiations broke down.

WTF happen to this thread, I click to the last page and it has evolved to something else. Ali was the greatest because he fought the best. Kicked a prime Foreman's ass, kicked a scary ass Liston's ass, had some all out wars with Frazier. Basically he had the total package, slick boxer with heart that was in a lot of great action fights what more do you want. Yeah he may have got a few nods in close fights against fighters you liked better personality wise. You cannot deny the amount of great fights he produced, and brought the showmanship aspect to the sport.

    'Crazy Train'

"Oh, every time I hear that song, I want to tear my clothes off and dance."

    Suzanne Pleshette

Lets stay side tracked. 53 years ago today.

Although the sidetracking's not bad..... I'll answer the question, in my opinion....

I think there's both.... maybe even 50/50. I think when he went way over the top, like calling Liston a bear or Frazier a gorilla.... and even brought little toy animals to press conferences.... I think that was pretty much show. However, he probably did have some dislike for some of his opponents, like maybe even Joe Frazier, who he considered to be somewhat of an "Uncle Tom." But then he would take that and carry it to the Nth power.... and that's the part I think was more show than anything else.

He hated all his opponents if they were black. I could never understand it, nor tolerate it.

    Cassius Clay

    During the 'First Reign' Disrespected

    > Archie Moore
    > Charlie Powell
    > Doug Jones
    > Henry Cooper
    > Sonny Liston I
    > Floyd Patterson
    > George Chuvalo
    > Henry Cooper II
    > Cleveland Williams
    > Ernie Terrell

Cassius was fairly amicable for the 2nd Sonny Liston bout.

Cassius was a sportsman for the; Brian London, Karl Mildenberger and Zora Folley 'Championship Bouts'.
