Default Should I try to go all the way with Boxing ??????

i dunno im about to get my Federal ID the boxing commisioner called me and said to come pick it up. I will, im a fight in the end of may. I have a scheduled may 10 fight but that might collapse and be postponed. but i dunno my mom doesnt wanna see me get hurt. so I made a promise to retire after 2 pro fights. Should I continue with my career and try to go for that belt. In a way i wanna leave boxing for a lil while after 2 fights. But in a way i dont wanna leave, Boxings in my blood, in my heart, in my brain. its a part of me. a big part, so I dunno any advice??

Unless you improve by 10 times then yes but doubt that will happen just wait and see jeez you haven't even had fight yet just wait and see how you do first.

Bernard Hopkins made a promise to his mother too, its nothing that cannot be reneged upon...

If its part of you then its partly because of the 3 M's that the great boxing trainer Peter Cook spoke of. Namely motivation, motivation and of course motivation.

If you are motivated then stick with it. If you want mother to wash your socks then do as she says.

Its up to you. Good luck on your fantastic voyage!

thanks dawg. but i dunno I'll c how I do in my first fight. is this a mistake I wanna come out in my 1st fight and end it right there in the 1st round. First box normally jab, throw straights. and then in the end of the round BOOOOOM> attack and just finish him with my hooks, good idea or no??

Exactly. Take your first fight and then judge where to go...

Ideas go out the window when your in ring when your nervous just wait and see what happens but i would say use jab throw it like whip don't worry about power throw it snappy and try win on points to get experience and if opportunity comes and you hurt him try for finish but if not just try win on points using left jab.

Dude, I've seen the video. If your pro debut is in May, you had better hope it falls thru. No offense dude, but you're not even ready for an amatuer bout. You really need a better trainer, because you have every bad habit in the book, and you don't have a lot of power and handspeed. I swear I hit harder than that the first time I stepped into the gym when I was 16.

PS- Trying to rush the guy in the 1st round, especially with the way you drop you hands, will result in you getting KTFO.

It'll be an awakening experience for sure.

You are clearly a very nice man Ice. I don't like him very much either but I would be reasonably happy in the scheme of things if he got seriously hurt.

The guy is a dickhead. An early round X-Factor cartoon wannabe.

Looking at that video there I think you should just use boxing to keep fit mate. Either your completely useless or your trainer is.
