With roy jones he had trouble making fights happen, and he never could make as much money as he would with a good promoter.

Don King. I know he is underhanded and yet I cannot help but like the guy. I don't think he is evil or has it in for anyone. Don King is just out for self. If you know that going in then you can look past the bullshit and see him for the genius that he is.

In Kings defence, he has made a lot of fighters a lot of money he just bails on them when they lose. More fighters would like to work with him than not and he knows how to match guys up and also hype fights that are mismatches. He is a shady but I think most promoters are. For me id trust another boxer more than an old guy in a suit who never laced up so GBP would be the better choice to me.
