On The wwe smackdown games they have a thing where you can litterally pick a bunch of names that have already been pre recorded by the announcer ..But they only do first names..
Just like they have a large number of first and last names when you fight random characters in career mode.. They could pre record them and put them together for a fighters real name.. Thats easy...

And also lucky you have a good idea there bro!..
The get in touch with ea and pay for certain things is a good idea.. Future fight nights will be on the next gen consoles..Which means internet!!

I remember one of the toney hawk games came out and if you could hook your ps2 online having sent a picture to activision they can incorperate your face onto a created skater!!

That too in fact has just clicked.. That would indeed be an awesome feat for the next game..
The internet access is already there...So if you could pay to send pictures and names to ea and have your created boxer maxed out to the full that would indeed be incredible
Cheers buddy. I have concluded a few problems though if all these demands were met. Here is my theory:
EA decides to make a game with all this detail in it. However, then it takes twice as long to make, delaying the sale date. Every month or so, they would release a small commercial to keep the waiting fans in anticipation.
This would result in mass fans waiting outside stores to buy FIGHT NIGHT on the sale date. When the doors opened, the copies of FN would be limited, not everyone would get one, first in-first served.
This would lead to ACTUAL boxing fights taking place between EA FN fans.
So if these demands are met...we better sharpen up our boxing skills if we want a copy! HAHA!

No I'm not smoking crack either! Lol.

Haha. Love this idea. Should be an option to postpone big name fights, in case your boxer wasn't as strong as you wanted him to be (eg: did crap in a training mini-game).
Then should have reasons for postponing it eg: Was sick, injured, financial problems with manager, etc. HAHAHA...this prob won't happen though.

More bells and whistles would be great. What I'd like more is realistic fighting. I don't want my arms to go into shock everytime my punch gets parried and vice versa. I would also like the real fighters to be more in sync with how they fought in reality. Muhammad Ali shouldn't be ducking under my punches, attacking my body and just standing there. There's many examples of how the real fighters that they've provided do not match up to the way they fought in real life.

The referee needs a lot of work, you could clinch for a whole round and there's no body that's going to break you up. Right now all the referee is-- is a strange dream you get when you get knocked on your ass, nothing more than a figment of your boxer's imagination.

Fouls need to be fixed too, I get a kick out of kneeing my opponent 3-4 times while their down. That shit shouldn't fly unless you have it enabled in the options.

I guess they could add a couple reality touches that can piss us off. For instance a wet spot on the canvas with a random chance of slipping on it. You can have smarter cornermen or referee's to try to notice this before hand and have it whipped up.

As for a grissley touch you can introduce "Death" to this game. I know that it sounds terrible but in some of these grudge matches where you're fighting as hard as you can and God forbid you kill your opponent. I'm not talking about making this game a sad version of celebrity deathmatch, but the risk of dieing is a risk that exists in real boxing, so why shouldn't it exist in a realistic boxing game?

I'd like more realistic trainers. Having a guy that waves his hands and plays the same record over and over is going to make me skip right over it because we've all heard it before.

The cutman's job needs more work. We don't need a Bob Villa cutman moving the coldswell across my head like he's sanding furniture, the same applies to the q-tip. They should be able to freely work around the face, applying their own ingredients to stop bleeding, realistically working to reduce swelling, applying vasoline, etc...

    I could just keep going...

Thats a good point!.. Trainers!.. There should be famous trainers on it..

I mean.. The speed coach looks exactly like freddie roach anyway i think it was probably the intention.. But it would be sweet if you could train with Steward, roach, mayweather etc..lol

I beleive they havementioned there will be some big changes..Which will be nice.. But aside from that the most important thing is career and characters.. I find they dont put enough effort into some characters as they do the rest.. Like a Deigo corrales isnt as well done as the ali's and hopkins

they need to really put max effort into having all great characters and have fighters like mayweather, tito, vargas , mosely, jcc whittaker etc..

Maybe but on the 360 and maybe even the ps3 the speed guy is bald.

I'd like a timeline of trainers, it sounds like too much work but I can dream can't I. It'd be awesine to have a conversation between the fighter. Imagine Angelo Dundee in the corner:

"Fuck me?! Fuck him, he's taking your Title!!!" "Your blowin it son, your blowin it!"

It'd also be fun to make (customize) the most idiotic trainers possible, they can give you shitty advice, stupid metaphores, and have you chase chickens for training. Personally I'd like them to make Rocky Balboa's trainer Mickey. "Stay Down!" "Flip the jab, Flip the jab... You see that bum in front of you... You see right and you do right... memorize...

Yeah I like this idea. When you have like 'fight now'. You be like Ali or something and make the opponent Corrales or someone the lowest weight. Then you absolutely punish him and finish with a haymaker to his temple. Ending scene is you winning, and the fight doctor pronouncing his dead.
That'd be wicked AS LONG AS this didn't mean you couldn't ever use the dead fighter again.
Or even if they had an option to turn Death on or off.

Note: This comment isn't anything about Deigo's death or his accident. Nor is it a joke, so no one take it personal.

It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. A lot of guys with their online careers would be out for blood. Imagine... Oh yeah I went 54-4 and then this fucker killed me.

As for another realistic touch what about broken hands, sprains, hurt shoulders. If your hand is broken and you land a haymaker after the fact it's going to hurt like no other. Cuts should be more realistic too, say for instance your guy has a bad cut above his right eye, it's gonna be very difficult to react to punches especially left-hooks.

The more realistic the better. Although a nice cheat menu would be fun too.

    Yeah Chris,
I was thinking about this whole death thing.
To add realism, if you fight someone, win or not, and say you get like smashed in the ribs heaps and they break or something. You shouldn't be able to be fully healed three weaks later for another fight.

Like they should have after fights, reports, "Ali suffered a dislocated jaw, repair will be 10 weeks or something."

SOMETHING like that, realism! Realism = Money...message to EA!

However, options like death and injuries and stuff should be able to be turned on or off...otherwise it may piss some people off.

Trainers should have specific traits. i.e they all have a very unique opinion on what they feel you need to do.
It would then be up to you to see who you feel more comfortabel with screeming insults at youbetween rounds

Also, training should be so so so much more engrossing (spelling!) it should really teach you something between fights, or at least work on something new every few fights.

    Maybe your weeknesses?

    Also also

You should be rewarded/ penalised for yor performance in the ring
ie you punch accuracy is high so you stamina goes up (making it easier to put more effective punches together)

    You feel me?

    Also Also Also

The game needs another level. Like Extra hard or P4P ATG! I mean, i thought i was a god on that game.

Man i was humbled very quickly!

I like your idea about the training and trainers. I also think it would be cool to maybe take a look at your opponet before you fight them to see what you need to do to match up with the fighter your about to fight.

Aww man! that would be fwokin deep!! You could put in some serious graft before you even fight man! Thats how it shoudl be done.

Mind you, there'd need to be some seriously hard settings for you to really wanna do all that.... More reason to if you ask me

Hey! Imagin doing that on-line too?

Aww man dont get me started!

Has any played EA's total club manager?

On it, each week you have a table with the week's roster. Split into
    morning
    mid morning
    afternoon
    evening

Then you have a ranges of choices to choose from, how to make your team train. (Running, penalties, weights, theory, etc)

Would be good if you had this kind of thing for your boxer on FN, choosing what training he does, at what time of the day and week, until each fight.

Different combinations could have different outcomes, example...
Make the fighter run every morning increase fatigue greatly, but then also increase indurance. Or maybe you put to much hard work for your fighter in a day, you may get a small injury from over working.

Something like this would require more interaction and strategic thinking. Would be a good addition imo.

If the game becomes too realistic it will be a drag.

You know, like having the pentalties turned up on Madden. Who likes having their best runs called back on holding? Not I.

That's what options are for! WE should have an option for how realistic the game plays. Not just Fight Night play one way and that's unrealistic.
