Well he is the best Heavyweight around at this moment in time?Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
Well maybe so but he hasn't proven it.Originally Posted by CutMeMick
Who would you say he needs to fight in order to prove hes the best?Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
He needs to start going after the champs like Chagaev Sultan thrown that in with Peter and Valuev then there is definetly no question he is the best i think Wlad has good skills and is miles ahead of most hws skillwise but he needs to prove it first.Originally Posted by CutMeMick
Actually Lyle he sounds a bit like you used to last year :POriginally Posted by Lyle
You used to go on about how great Wlad was in every post, well in the ones where you wern't hating on Ali anyways![]()
I could care less about his wall of accomplishments as long as he keeps winning fights the way he does. I'm not saying that he's the most entertaining fighter that I've seen, but I look forward to his fights. More entertaining than what a lot of heavyweights can do. I'd like to see a guy that can give him a run for his money.
If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.
Well wait a minute, if he does all that then theres no doubt he becomes Undisputed Champ.Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
All leftylee said was Wlad is the best.
And there is no doubt that up until today he is the best. Hes #1.
Chagaev & Sultan are fighting eachother so he could only go after the winner of that bout.
Valuev well I guess if Valuev comes back and has some decent wins at least.
To be honest I have this gut feeling that Valuev will loose in his comeback the second they put him against a decent opponent.
Peter def. but Peters been inactive for long I don't know what he's doing wasting his time waiting he should at least keep busy fighting hes doing what Margarito was doing just waiting for his turn.
I've got a feeling that America are going to come back strong in 2008. Tony Thompson, Eddie Chambers and Chris Arreola will lead the charge, blazing through all the commies, leaving the field open for Evander Holyfield to have his one last hurrah before retirement.Originally Posted by CutMeMick
Like i said Mick Wlad is best skillwise but he needs to prove he is the best by beating the champs and beating Peter then theres no doubt in my mind i don't know who Wlad is fighting next but i hope its against one of the boxers i mentioned.Originally Posted by CutMeMick
Maybe I'm an idiot and I'm not understanding you. (Which wouldn't be far from the truth)Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
Skillwise you think Wlads the best but hes not the best Heavy overall?
Is that correct?
Spot on, I wouldn't call it America theres also a handful of European up and coming Heavys that have began to make some noise already.Originally Posted by Bilbo
Living in Europe and getting a chance to see most of these guys in action I don't think so. Potvekin is going to be a threat but nobody else will emerge from Europe I don't think. Valuev will fade away, Ibragimov will go back to baling hay after the fight with Chagaev and Maskaev will eithe be KTFO in the ring, or stripped of his title for refusing to defend. Chagaev is decent, he'll be a threat and Wlad obviously ain't going anywhere.Originally Posted by CutMeMick
But I see the Russian grip loosening. I'm looking forward to seeing Odlanier Solis improve as well and of course by then us Brits will have David Haye. It's going to get exciting again soon folks.
What about Virchis, Greenberg, Cameron (I've read nothing but really good things about this guy)Originally Posted by Bilbo
I must admit I've never even heard of Cameron, but Greenberg....trust me if he works hard and fufills he potential he might just about be the next Dominic Guinn. He'll probably still be undefeated in 5 years time though because he probably won't step up until he's nearing 30. I don't know a lot about Virchis either or Dimitrenko or whatever his name is but I doubt they are up to much.Originally Posted by CutMeMick
It's Thompson and Arreola all the way baby!
