Can you clear this up for me , on which way you think it will go Rhun ?
Haye did indeed show great finishing against Mormeck, but as I probably (hopefully) mentioned in that post, I do think that this will all come down to the Haye weight draining issue. Haye had to dig amazingly deep to bring out the big shots that finished Mormeck, and if this fight was at a catchweight, maybe 8-10 pounds above the cruiser limit, I have no doubt Haye would ko Maccarinelli. My belief is that against Braithewaite, Macca showed he can box and frustrate another big hitter, whilst wearing them down, and that's how I think this one will go. If Haye can find a way to take the weight off without too much pressure on his body and muscles, he might be able to take Macca out of his comfort zone early on, and keep him out, but I just don't see that happening.

So, in essence, what I'm trying to say is, right guy.....wrong weight. Haye's a much more natural heavyweight than Maccarinelli, and if they meet again amongst the fatboys in a few years time, I might have to look at Haye for the win.

Ok Rhun fair point , i also think the loosing weight may be an issue for Haye , i mention this to Carl Thompson and he said it wouldnt be a problem for Haye , which was another thing i didnt agree with.
One thing for sure Rhun its bombs away , first time a guy gets hit on the
chin with a big shot and the first 4 rows of the crowd get SHOWERED WITH GLASS

I want Haye to win but do worry that the weight will cost him and he should not have taken the fight. I hope he pulls it off but I will be on the edge of my seat as it will only take a punch like Mormeck threw and Macca will not let him off.
