Fucking word ping pong.. get out of the way...
"Of course not at the moment ; there are variables in there !!!
I asked you...so go ahead
Boys this is all about buying time for us here on Earth ..."quality time"
not just about "changes" and if they can or cannot actually occur through us.
Personally I dont care if the balance on Earth becomes unbalanced and forces change.
Or whether we as one try to bend it around to suit us a bit better for all our future comfort.
Things are definatley speeding up on all accounts both natural and forced.
If you fear change and argue for us all remaining the same and fuck the consequencies; guess what : CHANGE is comming anyway.
Both sides are right cant you see that?
Andre, man is not meant to control the Earth and man is not meant to decide what is right for the Earth as far as climate goes. Sure we can clean up and recycle and all that stuff but Life on Earth cannot and will not be controlled.....climate changes are coming and they aren't man made they are cyclical and unstoppable.
Man will have to adapt to Earth (no matter what the climate) and not Earth adapt to man....that is how evolution works
I agree again.
But your first comment on the opening of this thread i dont agree with 100%.
Only 50%.
Truth is if we removed ourselves from here; in the physical mess /mental state/spiritually diminshing/ group that we are, paradise would be alot closer in every realm from the physical ,upwards and all the way back down again.
But if we chose to align ourselves in every way possible we could achieve it faster than if it occured naturally because we have the power of balance and the domination over all our animal relatives at the moment and we decide by our actions which ones become extinct faster than nature alone does for the time being.
Which will change.
The climate has changed numerous times and varied between oppresive heat and rstrictive cold yes...
However, the earth's protective membrane has never been damaged by any natural cause.
We have triggered this climate change...In fact I should say alteration as change implies it may not be permanent.

last week in England we had almost summer time weather in a lot of the country... this week we've had sub zero temperatures and blizzards.
I'm obviously with Lyle though... despite observing the changes in English weather and the wealth of scientific fact available.
"If the ozone layer gets thinner, ultraviolet radiation sears the earth, so what? Ultraviolet radiation is good for life. It's powerful energy. It promotes mutation, change. Many forms of life will thrive with more UV radiation. Many others will die out. Do you think this is the first time that's happened?"
Mock me if you must but this isn't the first time the granola guard has gotten the people up in a frenzy about the environment.
If you want to buy into it then fine by me, go grab yourself a copy of "The Day After Tomorrow" and curse the advances that society has made.
So I guess all the advances people have made in making fuel cleaner and making things more efficient just isn't cutting it, it's had no effect. And if that's the case, what the hell can we do about it now?
And call me crazy but I really don't buy into carbon offsets, it's like medieval times when people would buy indulgances from the Church...it's all a racket.
If you guys don't want to open your minds up to the thought that MAYBE, just maybe climate change isn't man made then don't let me stop you, all I am saying is that the climate has changed naturally every other time it has changed so why would it be different this time?
Scientists have disagreed about this for quite some time...oh yes there are scientists who disagree
But Lyle, it's not actually climate change at all.
It's over exposure.
It's not a controlled natural occurence it's a triggered increase in the extremities of our weather as a result of the breakdown of our natural protective membrane.

and Donny has the key.
Yes climate changes occur with or without us. Most scientists agree that our last hundred years or so of industrialisation has sped these changes up, now to what % is very much open to debate, some consider it to be insignificant.
Yes species naturally go extinct generally through changes in habitat/ predator ratios etc......what I and many others have an issue with is that as humans we are so self centered, egotisical and arrogant that we don't actually give a shit that we are actively causing species to go extinct, for example, I don't want the Albatross, which has been going about it's business for many years, to end up dead because I'm too bone idle to dispose of plastics responsibly.
