Lets keep our fingers crossed the crazy bastard lands one though.
Alright, how about 99/1 for Kahn and that's my final offer....

    Thats more like it.

Now it's time to bet on Gomez getting the KO
According to PaddyPower Khan is 1/25 to win and Gomez 8/1......Which is better than the last opponent lol.

For a Gomez t/ko at any time the odds arn't up yet, but I reckon you'd get 25/1 on him to t/ko Khan at any point! Betting on a round your looking at 100/1. Might be worth a sneaky pun

Ive been checking daily for the round odds since the fight was announced.. not for Gomez to get lucky though, this is the biggest one round cert (1-3rds to be extra safe ) since Enzo-Gunn.

Which is probably why you'll get maybe a quid back if you stick a tenner on Khan

I'm gonna go with Khan by TKO.

In truth after Gomez Johansson was on the way out.
You thinking of the correct Gomez, Mickey?

The only 50/50 is whether or not Gomez attacks him at the press conference
On his very best of days Gomez is a volatile unstable header that could go off at any second!

At first I thought this was Alfonzo Gomez, and I thought that it was a bit early but Khan would probably do the job anyways. Then I realized that Gomez is at 147 and I kind of had a laugh at myself.

As it is I have never heard of Michael Gomez and that's probably a good thing. Khan has no reason to rush. I don't think he needs to be fighting contenders or even fringe contenders as of yet.

He does need to step up the competition a little and last fight was a good start. They need to get guys who will do more then wilt in the face of Khan. They need to get some guys who aren't as good as Khan but have some sort of competitive fire and won't fall down in the 1st round. And as Saddo will tell you, his chin is going to have to be tested before he steps up because he's not fought anyone with any real power, he's been bigger then everyone he's stepped in with and sooner or later that has got to be addressed.

    Default Khan v Gomez

Amir Khan could be in real trouble for the opening 3-4 round with big punching Michael Gomez, Gomez already knocked out previously unbeaten Alex Arthur and although is way past his best he is dangerous. Willie Limond is a powder puff puncher and had Khan in all sorts of trouble, could this be a big mistake for Khan to take this fight?

No he needs to win these kind of fights . He cant be thinking this is a mistake meeting a guy whos just coming off a k.o defeat at domestic level . If Kahn had second thoughts hed be another Audley .

Kahn should take this fight to Gomez and get a K.O . Take some risks withj a guy who has 1 decent win on his record several years ago . We know he is washed up now so Kahn should get it out the way .

If anything this is a step back certainly not a big mistake .

Khan was knocked down and badly hurt by powder puff punching Willie Limond, Gomez is way past his prime but for 2-3 rounds he is very dangerous, he will come in swinging and if he lands Khan may be in big trouble, Gomez has a punchers chance of winning this one, but anyone ruling him out may be in for a surprise. Should Khan get through the first few rounds he should be in for an easy night.

I really hope Gomez can put up some form tough fight for Khan. I don't see any other result than a tko win for Khan, but I at least hope Gomez can catch Khan out a good few times and land some big shots on him, so we can see if he really can take shots, and it will make him better in the long run, working more on defence rather than being able to just overpower his opponents with his reach advantage.

This is all a big IF though. Lets hope Gomez can fight on for at least 6 rounds, giving Khan hell for at least 2 of them!

Paul Smith is on the underacrd but is fighting a bum.

LOOK out for Stephen Smith making his pro debut, Paul's younger brother. He is a top amateur and only just missed out on qualifying for the Olympics.
