OK lets be realistic and make it 90/10
Gomez is light-years past his best, his best being Brit level superfeather, and he has a couple of rounds at the most to land a lucky punch. They wouldn't let that nutter anywhere near Khan if they gave him a sniff.
Lets keep our fingers crossed the crazy bastard lands one though.![]()
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
he has impressed so far and hasnt really taken a back foot since becoming pro.
Was particularly impressed with his rematch against kindelan where he completely took apart a guy who not 12 months earlier had beaten him.
Agreed most of his opponents have been on the wrong side of their careers or decent british prospects that`ll never really make any headwaves.
But thats all about the learning process for khan. up until this fight i actually thought warren was doing a decent job with him.
But if they are deadly serious about making amir a world champion before the end of the year then surely they should of put him in against someone ranked slightly higher or within the top 10 who they knew was gonna give amir a real test.
Khan was knocked down and badly hurt by powder puff punching Willie Limond, Gomez is way past his prime but for 2-3 rounds he is very dangerous, he will come in swinging and if he lands Khan may be in big trouble, Gomez has a punchers chance of winning this one, but anyone ruling him out may be in for a surprise. Should Khan get through the first few rounds he should be in for an easy night.
According to PaddyPower Khan is 1/25 to win and Gomez 8/1......Which is better than the last opponent lol.
For a Gomez t/ko at any time the odds arn't up yet, but I reckon you'd get 25/1 on him to t/ko Khan at any point! Betting on a round your looking at 100/1. Might be worth a sneaky pun![]()
When was the last time Gomez knocked someone out?![]()
I really Khan't see any other ending to this than a tko win for Khan within 4 rounds.
I'd be very suprised if he had a title shot after Amir few title defences against weak opposition![]()
I dont understand why people see this as a competative fight. Almost everytime I see Gomez he is getting knocked out by someone obscure . Not even good fighters .
Who cares what he did a decade ago . Look at his last fight he got k.o'd by someone coming off a k.o loss and has since been knocked out again . Now Gomez is moving up in weight ? No chance ! This will be another huge let down . Dont fall for it people!
