I really liked watching Monfils slide around on the clay in the French Open, outside of the French Open he was probably my favorite to watch on the men's side in the French Open.

I like Monfils; he hasn't reached his potential yet. I don't think he is as dedicated as he should be. A top 5 player if he gets his mind right.

Yeah and fatigue seems to be a problem for him, but yeah he's an entertaining one. Roddick lost.

Monfils is a good player, just a lil inconsistent. He hits some great shots at times.

I see Ana Ivanavich was suprisingly knocked out today. Along with Sharapova yesterday this now leaves the field wide open for a possible William's sister to suprisingly get another Wimbledon final

Murray is through as well and on course for his heartbreaking quarter finals attempt defeat. Bring on the rain

Yeah Ana got taken to school by a Chinese player named Ling Ping or something. Ana started crying in the 2nd set at 3-2 for the break Haha.

My girl Safina still in there though, and Jelena Jankmyd#ck also. Serena is gonna have major problems with Mattek on Sunday; I hope she gets smacked back home. Tired of seeing her fat a## hanging out of her shorts

I can't wait to see Murray lose and have a temper tantrum

Has the rain started yet? 48 hours of no play and non stop reruns of John McEnroe vs Jimmy Connors on the BBC is another Wimbledon tradition.

Honestly they could secretly cancel Wimbledon one year and screen reruns of the previous year's tournament and nobody would be any the wiser

What a match with Andy Murray!! Never really liked him due to his pouting all the time; but what a war with Gasquet. Down 2 sets and behind 5-2 in the 3rd; and Andy just gets possessed. Then smoked Gasquet in the 4th set and wins in the 5th at 4 hr. mark. Even if you don't like tennis you should check out the match from the 3rd set on. Best tennis I've seen Murray play yet. Too bad he plays Nadal next

Williams sisters both win; my girl Safina out, Jankovic out; Kusnetsova out, Ivanovich out. Pretty much playing out like Bilbo said

Man that match was amazing, I cant believe a British player done that top stuff from Murray, so proud of him. Damm he's got a really hot girl as well. He actually had a smile on his face for a change as well. Dunno whats with showing his skinny white arms at the end though LOL.

Yep it's all falling into place now.

Murray will go a set up against Nadal only to lose in heartbreaking fashion.

I think the Williams sisters may actually both make the final now

And of course Federer will win the whole thing

Great match from the passionate, talented Brit and he'll remain that way till he loses..........when he becomes a emotionally fragile Scottish choker

I can't do with Andy Murray - tosser

His 'Paraguay shirt' comment from 2006 alienated a lot of potential English fans.

Chris eaton will tear him another arsehole this time next year if they meet

He is kind of a nob{if an american can use that term} I have never liked him but that was a great comeback yesterday and the crowd went bonkers. He will always underachieve though I believe. Nadal is going to smoke his a## when they meet tomorrow.

He's British Legion and he's made it to the quarter finals, that's a legendary acheivement that will be sung of in the tennis halls for generations in our land of crappy tennis players.

Britain is shit at sport and deservedly so. Whilst kids in Europe and American get scholarships, professional coaching and training in all of the major sports and athletic events in the UK our sports days consist of the egg and spoon race, sack racing and other novelty joke events, pancake tossing for example.

We are shit for a reason and quite honestly deserve to be shit. Until our country takes sporting acheivement seriously we will always underachieve and the only British tennis players will be middle/upper class toffs who can afford all the private coaching like Tim Henman and Andrew Murray.

In the uk it is an elitist sport where proper coaching is not available to the masses a situation which I think means we deserve to fail.

Pancake tossing Surely that is a jest? I saw something on the news a month or so ago and they were showing something in Britian that was big news; I think it was Lorry racing or something weird like that. It looked ridiculous

Anyways, I could have told you the Brits suck at tennis; obviously that fact hadn't escaped you I only said Murray had a fantastic game yesterday, inspiring really. I didn't say he was going to save the cloudy island you live on from nuclear attack or be the next Federer
