He's British Legion and he's made it to the quarter finals, that's a legendary acheivement that will be sung of in the tennis halls for generations in our land of crappy tennis players.

Britain is shit at sport and deservedly so. Whilst kids in Europe and American get scholarships, professional coaching and training in all of the major sports and athletic events in the UK our sports days consist of the egg and spoon race, sack racing and other novelty joke events, pancake tossing for example.

We are shit for a reason and quite honestly deserve to be shit. Until our country takes sporting acheivement seriously we will always underachieve and the only British tennis players will be middle/upper class toffs who can afford all the private coaching like Tim Henman and Andrew Murray.

In the uk it is an elitist sport where proper coaching is not available to the masses a situation which I think means we deserve to fail.

Well you're certainly entitled to your opinion of tennis; but I love the sport, so I guess I need to go swallow a c#ck The physical and mental aspects of it are alot more demanding than people think. Wimbledon is my least favorite slam to watch because of the silly clothing rules and the stuffy attitude, but the comp. is great.

Wimbledon is my least favorite slam to watch because of the silly clothing rules and the stuffy attitude, but the comp. is great.

not aimed at you mate who im quite sure enjoy it for its physicality and agility tests and not for strawberrys and ice cream.

Just cant stand the middle/upper class feel you get at wimbledon, grown men and women roaring andy murray on despite the fact he openly said he loved to see all english sides get beat??

I agree 100% mate. Wimbledon really grates me with all the tossers sitting on Henman Hill/Murrays Mound with their strawberries and cream, sipping pims and cheering on a rich Scottish twat who doesn't even live in Britain.

It's funny cause' my tough guy friends come over all the time to watch fights and none of them can understand my love for tennis. They all love football and basketball or baseball. I f#cking hate team sports and it always boils down to blaming someone for failures. I love tennis and boxing because of the strict one on one aspect of it; no one to blame and you either do it or you don't. I swear I'm not a fag
