I like Haye, he's a good talker and its good that he is determined to get a fight with Klitschko down the line but it appears to me he is underestimating Klitschko.

If this fight was to happen Haye would have to end it early because the further it goes the more it goes in favor of Klitschko in my opinion. Haye is faster but Klitschko is faster than what he is given credit for plus you add his power and his jab - cross and Haye could easily lose by KO as his chin isn't good. Wlad could end it early also.

This fight will be like Sanders vs Wvlad

Sanders was just an average fighter with speed but that Gives Wvlad trouble. I think Haye will shock people with a quick win .

Sanders had a good chin and that was at a time where Wlad wasn't the same fighter he is now. Wladimer now seems to hold when people get close or at least only fights with people at his distance otherwise he holds.

Don't underestimate Wladimer. He may be unexciting and Haye may be exciting but that doesn't mean he is going to beat Wlad. Wlad has the height and the power to give Haye a lot of issues.

If they ever fight each other I'll be picking Klit to knock Haye out.

Haye has power and is exciting but his lack of defense is gonna get him hit by Wlad and hit often, and I doubt he could take Wlad's punches for very long.

And I know you say "But all it takes is one shot from Haye" but the thing is Wlad is going to get to haye first and more often then he gets to wlad. If he can take Wlad's power then he has a chance, but I'd like to look at how he takes a shot at heavyweight before I say he will beat Wlad.

That about sums it up. Wlad has shown a very mature fighting style, not the most crowd pleasing, but very effective he knows exactly how to use his jab and augment his reach. While I think Haye would be good for HW to the general public, I don't see him beating Wlad, especially if it goes rounds.

I like Haye a lot, he is one fighter that is looking to fight the best straight away.

Could you see Haye figting Thompson? i think he`d rather vacate.

....we can safely make that assumption because Haye has already had so much success vs the "fat slob" heavyweights

Haye had better be able to back up his talk or he had best stop before Wlad wants to pummel him more....Wlad is hardly Carl Thompson and the sooner David realizes this then maybe the sooner he realizes he needs to test himself at heavyweight before trying to get a title shot.

And the people who tout that Haye is ranked by some federations had better realize that Manny Pacquiao could get ranked as a middleweight right now and that's just the way boxing works...it's not that Haye EARNED it it's just he's able to "grease the wheels" so to speak

I'm not saying I agree with it but other fighters move up a weight and get to fight the top man straight away so why should Haye be any different?

In my eyes he's a natural Heavy that has been draining himself for years to make cruiser and he will be much stronger at heavy and may even have a better chin as he won't be weight drained. I also think he's good for the division because if he brings nothing else he's already brought a bit of interest back!

...there's no weight limit at heavyweight so if you're able to make cruiserweight you're a little suspect. Evander Holyfield didn't fight Buster Douglas or Mike Tyson right away...he had to EARN his shot.

If Haye wants to demolish his career then fine go ahead and fight Wlad and get exposed AGAIN....but if he's smart (which maybe he's not) he'll work up to a fight with Wlad by fighting tall heavyweights and heavyweights with good power and a good jab.

No but there are Light heavys who have stepped up and beat belt holders in there first fight. Does anyone remember a certain Roy Jones Jr?

True but Roy was a well seasoned fighter and Haye still has some green in him....but if Haye wants to fight Wlad first fine but he's going to wait for a while

I agree with you Lyle I think he should fight some of the top 10 fighters first before going straight for Wlad. I'm one of the few on here who seem to respect Wlad and I see him as a serious danger if he connects with Haye. The Only thing is the same can be said the other way around and I think that Haye has got the speed advantage over Wlad and I think that will tell when they do meet eventually!

I just hope one day Wlad gets some respect for knocking someone out
