"After the Hillbilly Pimp has dedicated the last four months of his life
to training and preparing for the Oct 18th show down
with former TPS champion Andrew"Kid Thunder"Hartley
I have made the hard decision to postpone or simply cancel the
the fight for two main reason .

Reason #1: Andrew "Kid Thunder"Hartley was under a 6 month
SOB suspension for the lack of preparation in previous fights and
the number of stoppages as a result of the lack of preparation .
And the only reason I was lifting the suspension was if Andrew made
a verbal agreement with me to come to the Slug Out Gym and
at least 3 times and show me complete 4 rounds of intense sparring
with a fellow TPS member such a Dumas , Micro Tyson or Burkes
plus to make video's to help promote the upcoming TPS fight with
the Hillbilly Pimp.Which he did not .So his suspension is now
being held up to the complete 6 months from the fight
he lost to Dumas. And will not be lifted any sooner .And
if Andrew chooses not to show any preparation in future fights
he is scheduled to fight in.He will the be permanently suspended
and will no longer be able to participate in SOB events.

Reeason #2 : Well this was the hardest decision I have had
to make in a long time.And I will try and make it as simply as I can.
Paul wanted to fight! He trained from dark till dark everyday. He showed
the dedication to the sport that could be appreciated by the
worlds best trainers.But the 4 months or so of intense training
and altering his life was not going to be enough or so I believed
with my observations.The last few days at the Slug Out Gym
were very tense because I had told Hillbilly ,I did not want
him to fight on the Oct 18th card ! To say the least did not
understand and was overwhelmingly angered by the public
statements I had made after he had only been back from
Texas a day or so.But after seeing him Spar I knew
4 or so months was not going to be enough time. And I was
not going to reward Andrew for breaking our deal and
Punishing Paul , by what was going to happen after
all the hard work he had done for so long ! I wish
Paul would have stayed , but after he thought about
everything , He asked if I could get him a ticket home
and I said yes ! And told him I would always hold
him a place at the SOB and all he had to do was
ask and we would bring him back ! Because he
will always be my friend ! "

so dumb.. i mean, for any promoter, having a fight cancelled is the absolute ultimate let down to any audience.. On top of it, these "reasons" (excuses) that he has given us are completely personal issues, which should not be involved in a BUSINESS.. If a fighter has had no prior boxing training, or experience in the sport, you don't put him on a card unless you are POSITIVE that he is capable of defending himself, you don't just hope that he'll be ready, make the fight known to the public, then back out..

For SOB, this is a business, and this business has been terribly conducted.. i could understand if a fighter didn't make weight, or got in trouble with the law, or something to that extent, but to let personal grudges (the fact that he didn't want andrew to have satisfaction in beating paul) get in the way of business, proves how much of a joke this dude is.. SOB clearly sucks as a person, and as a business man..
