Hatton does need him more than Pacman needs Hatton, 60-40 is probably right with negoiations Hatton will get his 50-50 split so don't fret Fatman fans!
Pac can go back and get Marquez 3 or anyone else he wants, he just KO'd the PPV king of the last 10 years so that puts the ball in his court. The fight will happen and everyone will be happy including Hatton.

    It should be 50-50.
But really boxers should be fighting for Pride & Glory and recently added, for their Nation.
    Not money.

I'm in favor for PAC having the lion's share of the purse split, maybe not less than 55% due to these reasons:
    - PAC the no. 1 P4P boxer
    - PAC the "hottest" boxer right now
    - PAC the early betting favorite against Hatton
    - Hatton got only 30% share in the PBF fight (from what I've read)
    - PAC got only 35% share in the Hoya fight
    - PAC the no. 1 boxer at 140 (according to BoxRec )
    - PAC has huge fanbase (maybe a very close second to Hatton's)

Pacquioa is riding a huge wave of momentum and notoriety off of The Delehypa circus.Although Hatton is numero uno at 140 and has an immense loyal fan base at home,Pacquioa is at the wheel with the networks and has numerous options other wise.Hatton needs to look at the bigger picture longterm, when its all said and done I believe he'll come away with more than 40%.All focus on defeating 'Super mighty ultra Pac'...yawn....inside of the ring and not at the bargaining table. He does that and he'll reep the benifits greatly.

Hatton is going to be bringing more people to the seats and gaining more PPV buys. Money in => Money out simple equation. PAC could fight other people but unless PBF unretires no way he makes more money from fighting anyone else. 50-50 is definately reasonable.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Economically they both bring roughly as much to the table as each other and any difference is outweighed by the commercial worth of these particular two guys fighting each other. Despite what Manny is saying about how he's the star here it'll be interesting to see how many US PPV buys he does when he isn't fighting an American or Latino fighter.

Team PAC usually gets what PAC rightfully deserves to get... Remember Hoya gave in to PAC's demands during the negotiation of their fight... I think eventually Team Hatton will also give to PAC what PAC rightfully deserves to get... and then we will have a fight...

prob with that is if it goes to the cards. they could both be decent fellas & fight for a draw then they get 50/50 split

i agree wot people say abt hatton needing the fight more than pacman though, at first i thought bollocks to a 60/40 split but as already said if hatton wins he is the man & can demand 60/40 if there is a rematch
All great points ,but Team Hatton should barter anyway.

Then once all is said and done Ricky should say ok Im only getting 40% you get 40% too and we'll give 20 % to the boxing retirement fund,Or the Phillipino opanage fund if you'd rather that.. "what say ye great man?".

That forces an equal deal, Manny has to conceed publicly cause of his political ambitions; give to one of them or look like a hog and first mental win goes to team Hatton.

Just saw a local news video saying the Hatton camp already have another world class opponent lined up should it fall through and it would be in the UK, and alot bigger than the vs Lazcano fight.

Any bets who this could be? I still wouldn't mind seeing Hatton beat the shit into Witter

none bigger than pac man, I would have said jump back to 147, and try Cotto o nfor size seeing he will probably be a few cylinders off in his comeback, but he's fighting Jennings...

The only fight that I want to see is Pac vs Hatton and if that dosent pan out then a 3rd Pac vs JMM ... Pac knows JMM has his number and is not to keen on fighting him again.

I think if Pac dosent take on Hatton, and JMM beats Diaz than Pac's #1 PFP will be hanging by a thread if JMM wins

Its got to be 50/50.Split it all the way down the middle.Does Pacman have to pay tax on this fight? Is that why he wants 60%??
