    Default Treadmills and Boxing

Anyone recommend a regime I can start using on treadmills to enhance my boxing performance? I am doing some research for an article and wanted some feedback

I prefer using a treadmill because I'd like to use my knees in the future. It seems that most prefer road running. I guess they figure all the fresh air, rain, ice and snow is character building.

What is your current regime? Do you run at the moment? Have joint problems? Overweight? etc

tired/bored using the treadmill or tired of running on the treadmill.

Running outside is more demanding than the treadmill. No rebound, plus the treadmill almost drags you along.
At my age I prefer the extra safety of the treadmill. I'm very delicate

I hate running on treadmills, much prefer the nice sea breeze as I run along the beach. Plus I always think i'm going to roll my ankle or something on a treadmill.

I've used treadmills before but Im never going back to them. Running outside is more difficult but waayy less monotonous and boring. As for the impact thing: I dont think there is any difference and by feel I would think outdoor running is better. The only good thing about treadmills is that you can pace yourself and measure distance accurately.

How about a treadmill that has no impact, would that be better do you think. that stretches the muscles and improves gait and improves the Hearts adaptabilty by 40%, Plus strengthens the Hips Knee and Ankles while on it that sounds like a good idea. I think Ill go out and make one.

Oh and while were at it, we will make it improve Lactic Shuttle also lets make it so it improves injury healing by half while giving you a proper Running Technique while making you run faster.
