I don’t believe it but I hope so!!!
Oh I believe it! If the Mosley that fought Mayorga shows up he's in trouble! Major Trouble!!!

But then you have the Mosley backers who really have to hope & look at the other side of the coin. Margarito took some huge shots vs Cotto... could they have taken a toll? You hit a wall hard enough for longer enough eventually its gonna crack!

Mosley is still very fast, faster than Margarito & even at 37 has excellent skills.

I like both guys going into this, so I don't really mind who wins but as I saiod before my heart will be with Mosley.
I’m glad you was right, next time I’ll give more credit to the experience (boxer and boxing fan as well).

Noticed that myself. Every other round when Shane landed a big right at the bell Tony smiled. End of the 7th, he didn't - he looked like he was really feeling it.

Shane Mosley himself has some controversy regarding steroid issues, so he isn't squeaky clean himself. But atleast he don't put illegal substance in his gloves that can ruin a fighter for the rest of his life.

Im no big Miguel Cotto fan so anyone using that excuse can stick it where the sun don't shine. I was rooting for Antonio Margarito and i liked him as a fighter, but after hearing that my estimation of him has gone way down.
Because........why An opposing corner stated/asserted it much and a network glory boy stated it as conclusive fact and a for gone conclusion ?Seriously ICB?Punches tend to have little effect if they are not landing.....Tony blew it.....Mosley earned and took it.
I know your a Antonio Margarito fan but face it he got caught, even the commision stated that the corner man was indeed correct. He got caught end of i was a fan but i am no longer anymore a fan.

Thats a disgraceful act and that shows you he will do anything to win, not caring if he hurts/ruins a fighters career for the rest of there life.
Its akin to the nay sayers ranking on Mosley for Hormones and substances?Deminishes both and what took place tonght!!And my suggestion friend is dont believe the hype.Pretty sure its a different world with an opposite corner standing in the dressing room,re-wraps nothing New?Broad brush to dismiss a guys past accomplishments based on a network hypeguy, come on.

Gotta give Brother Nasim his due. His sons were great amateur boxers, he had BHop ready for Pavlik and now Shane. Who's next on the menu?
I personally would love to see Floyd vs Shane.

I doubt it, Shane passed on a Mayweather showdown when Floyd called him out... Floyd would outbox Shane

When?? Must have missed that - Mosley ducks NO ONE. Except Kostya Tszyu, but he took an even tougher fight with DLH so we'll forgive him

I think Shane gives Floyd the fight of his life.

I think Floyd is the guy who avoids people not Shane

I can see alot of threads on this board that are negative about Tony but non congratulating Shane on an amazing achievement

Its not often a fighter can move down in weight and win a world title. Cant believe he had the power to do that after Cintrons shots bounced off Tony .

Mosley is one of the top 5 p4p fighters now.

Yeah. Props to both fighters for taking the fight and even more respect to Shane for being the better man tonight.

He definitely deserves top 5 credit. He lost a close fight to Cotto that he was coming on strong in toward the end and has won all his fights since regardless of his performances - good or bad.

Tonight's performance was ridiculous. He fought masterfully. I would love to see him fight Cotto again, or even Berto. I think Williams doesn't belong in this division and should stay at middle or move up to lightheavy -

Default Forgetting The Antonio Margarito Controversy I Gotta Say.

Well done to Shane Mosley he proved me and alot of other boxing fans wrong, and as i have said and i will repeat it i have been Shane Mosley fan for along time and i have the threads to prove it.

But i hadn't seen the old Shane Mosley in awhile even though he went pretty much even, with Miguel Cotto and i had the fight a draw. I didn't think Shane Mosley was anywhere near his best which is too his credit.

But boy did he bring his form back tonight, Shane Mosley seems to go through of patch, of good/bad form in the last several years. And i don't know how he keeps coming back but he does.

He fought a perfect game plan by clinching to stop Antonio Margarito attacking/coming forward. He countered beautifully by ducking/slipping and rolling with the shots.

His flicking jab was also really on form tonight as was his workrate, he upped the workrate quite alot which i didn't think he could do. And when Antonio Margarito would try and fight back.

Shane Mosley would put him in his place with lovely fast flowing combinations, which was another which that was impressive tonight. And he kept it going for a sustained amount of time not only in 1 or 2 rounds, like he did in the Ricardo Mayorga fight.

Also his power which i've also said in the other thread, suprised me tonight i knew he had very good power at Lightweight. But i didn't think he had as much power as Welterweight as i remembered.

Maybe its because i've been remembering the recent Shane Mosley recently, and forgetting about the old Shane Mosley. But overall an amazing fight from Shane Mosley he dominated Antonio Margarito from start to finish.

Finished him in good fashion and is now got back into the top 10 again, and i think he deserves a rematch with Miguel Cotto. And i think he would beat Miguel Cotto in a rematch if he's in the same form he was in tonight.

    Congrats to Shane Mosley.

I think Shane can beat Cotto if they were to rematch. The first fight was real close and Cotto barley edged it. But Shanes last two fights have ended by ko so its hard for me to bet against Shane since hes on a roll. I dont know we will just have to see how Cotto does against Jennings but as of now im rolling with SSM.

And the new king of the welterweight division Sugar Shane Mosley!!!!!!!!!!
