Vaguely funny, cause almost all of the above is close to correct.
And I want to remember where you were allowed to have cheese on the hamburger, refresh my memory, you know it is possible to have fried meat on a bun with lettuce on top.
You keep calling them cheeseburgers, did I mention cheese? No I didnt. And thats one place in NYC
You are, of course allowed to mention alternative restaurants, which I notice noone has
Until you put up,learn to shut up

Sorry,I havent had alot of time to find the nice vegetarian restaurant in every city, and while I like Chinese food, they rarely serve an edible version in most airports in America
If somebody has a list, they should feel free to post them.
Because boxers end up eating in Denny's most of the time.
Also you should enjoy your time in whatever city your in,and part of that is the food.Your only going to be there 3 or 4 days, and may never be there again. One of the few perks you get out of boxing is being able to travel. And I hate break it to the Europeans, most American food is terrible for you.You think Pizza is rough, try a diner Chicken Croquette with mashed potatoes,if you can even see the croquette for the gravy you have X-ray vision.
What's wrong with taking you're own food or buying from the local supermarket? You can easily take meal replacement sachets etc...
You need a dinette in your hotel room,or your eating everything raw,and most of the time you dont have a dinette in your hotel room.
And really good luck getting food through customs if your traveling out of country, youve just put a big sign on you saying,"Please,I want to be the random search"

When I travelled in the states on United Airlines (don't recommend) they didn't check me at all and i carried food in my carry on.

Australia is supposed to be the strictest in the world for that kind of thing because we're an island continent and want to avoid importing the rest of the world's fruit flies etc but even we are allowed to carry particular types of food.

We'd avoid fruit and veg but dry things like protein powder etc would be fine in a domestic flight.

Most airports i've been to will serve a heap of crap but you can usually pick up a salad or the equivalent somewhere.

I don't know about the states but in Australia mc Donalds has got such a bad rep for being unhealthy they've had to offer a heap of healthier options to their menu.

I'd still avoid them on principle but if you can go to Mc Donalds here you could choose something healthier than a cheese burger.

You know they put sugar in the buns which are already crappy white bread etc etc ....... EVIL

I flew to Brunei to run a marathon and my mum did the half. She gets so nervous pre-event she brought her complete pre race food supply. It was worth it in the end because in some foreign countries you don't want to risk some unfamiliar foods before an event.

    That's actually a myth.

Obviously partly it depends on what you put in the microwave but the cooking process of a microwave is healthier than boiling because you don't loose content to the water it's cooking in.

Was I directing that post to you? Don't start with me or I'll bitch slap you and your wife

Nothing wrong with a bit of cheese. Good source of calcium. Of course I'm talking proper cheese not the processed thin slices of yellow stuffed between plastic.

p.s I always get stopped at U.S airports. Shoes off, empty your bag. Last time over I took some maximuscle MRP bars with me, had one in my hand luggage that came under close inspection Don't think they would let me on with them now.

I was able to eat relatively healthy at a Rave music festival for god's sake... the dish of the day was Ecstasy with a side serving of weed
Surely these places have a Subway where plain chicken sandwhiches could be bought.

Even McDonalds do a chicken salad on wheat bread.

I'm sure it has some added sugar/salt but if you can only go to McDonalds at least pick the healthiest stuff

I remember watching something about their food. Something like how the salads had more calories/fat than the burgers.

Jesus just buy the burger and ditch the bun.
