I think Calzaghe's ability to go back and forth front foot to backfoot was his greatest strength. I think using both is why he was able to gain the tactical advantage over Kessler who had a lot of success in the early rounds.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Sorry i'd just lost money on Arsenal after being 2-0 up and was in a bad mood lol.
Mate how the fuck did Arsenal draw that

Seriously I couldnt see West Ham scoring in a month of sundays, bizzare that game I thought after the second went in i thought it was gonna be a 4/5 - nil.
I know they just seemed to think they could go home after the second went in.

    What you think ?

Do you really think Calzaghe fought Lacy on the back foot

I havent seen the fight for a couple of years now but im pretty certain Calzaghe took the fight to him 95% of the fight.
From what i recall he did especially early in the fight.

He used his superior footwork to have Lacy come to him and then peppered him with combos then moved out.

I'm sure as the fight went on Calzaghe did start pressing forward.
I think he was too fast for Lacy, but he was off balance with his footwork and I found it pretty sloppy in that fight, and Calzaghe brought the fight in terms of punches to Lacy, but physically Lacy was the one coming forward for most of it.

No idea how exactly we came away with a point there

left the ground at 2-0 and ended up running into a local to watch it on the big screens when cole got one back. Place went insane when we scored the pen
    one dangerous horrible bloke

Yeah I bet. Didn't think it was a pen but the appeal just before probably was so it evened itself up.

the 1st one was a stonewall pen and i dont think the ref had much option but to give the second one which was touch and go
