This thread was made to discuss whether you thought Calzaghe was more effective coming forward or on the backfoot.

It is not made to criticize Calzaghe's ability to slap or his level of competition.

Veit in Germany was a beatdown really impressive performance, even though he was fighting a overrated stiff.

Mate how the fuck did Arsenal draw that

Seriously I couldnt see West Ham scoring in a month of sundays, bizzare that game I thought after the second went in i thought it was gonna be a 4/5 - nil.

I think Calzaghe's ability to go back and forth front foot to backfoot was his greatest strength. I think using both is why he was able to gain the tactical advantage over Kessler who had a lot of success in the early rounds.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

No idea how exactly we came away with a point there

left the ground at 2-0 and ended up running into a local to watch it on the big screens when cole got one back. Place went insane when we scored the pen
    one dangerous horrible bloke

Yeah I bet. Didn't think it was a pen but the appeal just before probably was so it evened itself up.
