I like Lewis. And I think Lamply is the best blow by blow ever. He is the voice of World Championship boxing.

I wouldn't mind seeing Forman back or even Tarver.
    Antonio Tarver is with Showtime.
I know, but HBO has twice the boxing budget; I am sure they can get him if they want him.

It says on boxing scene that Lewis quit. Whoever wrote the article saying he was fired probably works for HBO and was trying to save their rep.

They are trying to get Roach to replace him. You cant understand that bloke at the best of times and he is getting worse.

There's only one obvious choice for the job...

Lmao, roger mayweather would be perfect, him or floyd sr. Honestly tho there is talk about roach doing it, I don't understand it personally cause of the parkinsons and he must be so busy cause he has about 15 fighters to look after, it's early doors tho, like alot of u on here, I think jones jr or tarver r the best candidates

I thought you were being sarcastic mate lol Roach bit of a weird one, but he is a good talker but I don't think he will have the time.

    I didn't mind him either.

Tarver is the best ex-boxer commentator IMO.

Yeah skel i read over on boxingscene earlier today that there looking at roach,i think he could be good, as long as the poor fellas speech is up too it. I think it should def be a trainer or fighter tho cause if they brought any old norman like a writer they wouldn't be taken seriously,

He is a colourful commentator and is good at his job but I do think he is abit biased towards Yanks or towards whoever he likes rather than calling it down the middle.

I've never noticed Tarver to be biased at all. He calls everything fairly and is very insightful. Everyone has their own opinions though...

I don't think any legitimate broadcaster would do that on purpose on the air.

it was Rafael who (although an ass) works for ESPN, which is owned by Disney Enterprises and has no affiliation with HBO, so don't really think he'd be trying to make anyone look good or bad here

I don't no about that didn't he have Froch winning against Dirrell or if he didn't he said you couldn't argue with the result it was a close fight?

They had him on years ago with series "Ko nation".Good on the mic but no one else hardly got a word in edge wise.

I never had a problem with Foreman,he would go a little aloof at times but his tiffs with Merchant were classic.
