    Round 1

Rigondeaux pops off some 1-2s straight away. Rigondeaux gets turned around by Cordoba. Rigoneaux looking sloppy lunging in, Cordoba jumps out of the way. Corodoba moving away. Kellermen says Rigondeaux is already the best 122 lb. fighter. Rigondeaux landing some good jabs, but a lot of shots are falling short. Cordoba not looking like he's able to get anythign going

    10-9 Rigondeaux.

Rios looked decent, but quite leaky defensively. You can tell it was a last minute addition.
Even though his corner threw the towel in?

Good job these boxer types ain't as hard as you miles...
A little bit too early for me, but they know their man better.

This is boxing, so at least give the audience something to see. I am not arguing for him to be pummelled into a coma. Just let the man hit the canvas. He wasn't exactly out on his feet there. They should have let Harrison go down again too.

I have never claimed to be a hard man, nor a boxer. I'm just a fan who likes to see a fight.

    Round 2

Rigondeaux lands a jab, Cordoba looks off balance. Sweeping right hook from Rigondeaux barely misses. Cordoba dancing around the ring. In the center both guys feinting trying to draw the counter. Rigondeaux lands a jab misses the straight left. They trade hooks. lots of posturing. Too much respect here, very little action. Crowd starts booing. Rigondeaux misses a few shots. bell. Boring round.

    20-18 Rigondeaux.

I disagree. If a fighter is hurt or in serious danger at any point whether standing up, on the canvas or on the ropes, it's time to stop the fight. This sport is brutal, but it is still a sport and not a death match. The health of the fighters come first and foremost, not the lust for blood and brutality as the spectators demand.

No, I am not bloodthirsty and if his corner wanted to stop it then that's their choice and theirs alone to make. I just didn't think he was all that badly hurt. Took a couple of hard shots and then the towel was thrown. I was only half joking when talking about Harrison though. He was beyond awful and deserved another KD.
