I disagree. If a fighter is hurt or in serious danger at any point whether standing up, on the canvas or on the ropes, it's time to stop the fight. This sport is brutal, but it is still a sport and not a death match. The health of the fighters come first and foremost, not the lust for blood and brutality as the spectators demand.

Rigondeaux lightning fast jabs. stalking now, body shot, delayed reaction and Cordoba goes down. Rigondeaux wails the body. Cordoba covering tightly now. Two right hooks for Rigondeaux land. Sweeping right misses for Rigondeaux. Rigondeaux misses two more, Cordoba clinches. Cordoba lands a counter to the body too little too late.

No, I am not bloodthirsty and if his corner wanted to stop it then that's their choice and theirs alone to make. I just didn't think he was all that badly hurt. Took a couple of hard shots and then the towel was thrown. I was only half joking when talking about Harrison though. He was beyond awful and deserved another KD.
