thing is (and again im not a massive khan fan and im not upset by the decision in any way) that does look very dodgy, and what kind of precedent does it set?

its a good move by khan in a lot of ways because if something isnt done about it then whats gonna happen at every major fight from now on? they need a very very good explanation
Do you know what, I agree. I actually applaud Khan for going detective and making this public knowledge. Weird things go on in boxing too often and if something is dodgy, it needs to be stopped.

I don't like his moaning in general, but I'm happy to look at evidence he has to support any corruption claims.

As a boxing fan and armchair expert I think he should have done far better in the fight, a fight he really should have won easily. But taking out all emotion from who I like and don't like, something seems very wrong here.

What I don't get though, if you were going to fix a fight like that which was clearly a close fight, the odds on a draw are always massive, if I was fiddling a fight, I'd have fiddled it to be a draw at 50/1!

But the dodgy man in a hat, plus the altered card, then the missing card, then the time taken to get the result out all screams a fiddle to me.
I pretty much agree with this.

Me too.. anyone who thinks this doesn't stink of foul play is a fool.
Something very dodgy went on and the rules state that what happened shouldn't have and the guy is clearly either handling the score cards or passing something on paper to one of the judges from round 6 onwards.
Any true fight fan would definately want to know exactly what this guy was up to. Weird that this all happened the row directly in front of Oscar De la Hoya and yet he said nothing during those rounds
All a bit weird and im curious too see the outcome of the investigation.
Khan could well force a rematch from all of this and one i think he'd win with ease. All he has to do is use the ring and box Petersons head off and not get drawn into a scrap and he'll piss it for sure.

Kudos to Khan for getting this out their via the web really as it's brought it all out into the open and forced the hierarchy to react and look into it (something which was ignored until he tweeted it).
So after all the finger pointing and accusations, the mystery mans identity has finally been revealed. . . . . . . . . . .
