Uh ok. Seriously you think Khan would not relish the chance to get one of the belts back he bent over backwards to defend, in a guys own backyard, who then cheated and screwed him over for it? Khan maybe arrogant, idiotic and glass jawed but he is also ambitious, brave and capable of coming back from a seemingly career ending defeat. Fast hands, decent power, he is a decent light welter.

You and others have got to quit claiming the cheat card my friend. He was under the acceptable amount of specific steroids for healing.That is in the rules. You are allowed through a doctor to use roids for rehab and that's what he did. As if he would ask for random tests if his intent was to cheat. Neither brother has any history of cheating. Lamont cheated. Lamont Lied. There were rules in place Peterson flaunted them. Khan lost a close fight without using synthetic testosterone pellets, but Khan brought the belts to the table and followed the rules. If having the testosterone levels of a 70 year old man was a real honest and truthful assessment of Peterson's situation then what was he doing in a boxing ring, and why did he not mention this until after his test came back positive post fight? If he was not taking a banned substance then it would not have shown up in tests. Even if he gained no advantage by taking what is in effect a steroid he was still cheating.The IBF just lost even more credibility and risk sinking to the depths of the WBC. There is no science logic or facts that can excuse a sanctioning body for allowing a fighter to keep a belt that he won whilst failing a drug test even if that test was self imposed.

That is simply wrong. Again, he tested under the allowable limit used for physical rehab and had he been using for purposes you claim he did then the amount in his system would have been ten times the amount found. The reason the Wbc stripped him is because they hate unification. The Ibf accepted the reasoning which was supported by doctors

If you're going to use synthetic testosterone you need to decalre it and get a medical exemption certificate. He didn't do that and when the first sample tested positive he claimed he was clean and hadn't taken anything.

Grant it, the right people were not informed. That is a technicality that his team dropped the ball on not him. It does not detract from the fact the he tested below the accepted level for rehab. What he is guilty of is stupidity. Not only was the amount consistent with accepted limits but he's the one that asked for random tests. Nobody is that stupid. I give him the benefit of the doubt in this instance because I have watched and kept up on him and his brother almost since they moved out of that cardboard box in the alley. He's worked his ass off to get to where he is and because he's not a household name or big draw he has had to work twice as hard. For this one my glass is half full.

VADA do a type of testing called Carbon Isotope Ratio testing. CIR testing can tell the difference between testosterone that is naturally produced by the body and synthetic testosterone. Peterson's people didn't know CIR testing exists as nobody else, even USADA test for it. In the steroid world up to this point testosterone was/is the drug of choice as it's produced by the body and you can legally have up to six times the normal amount in your body, an amount that replicates the action of anabolic steroids, and still test negative in drug tests. That's why hundreds of boxers/MMA fighters are taking it.

Peterson had already beaten the drug testing for the Khan fight despite admitting he was full of synthetic testosterone so he had no reason to think he was going to test positive -- after all, it was just a substance that occurs naturally in the body and it was under the acceptable limit. And do you really believe all these muscular superfit alpha male fighters actually have hypogonadism and aren't naturally producing enough testosterone?
