In Saturday's fight, apparently there were knockdowns that weren't scored as such and they affected the outcome.
I wonder if anybody remembers the rafael Ruelas vs Freddie Pendleton fight from 20 years ago? I was there and I counted five knockdowns- to my eyes Pendleton dropped him 5 times. Only two were scored, both in the first round. There was some controversy about it at the time, but it died quickly as ruelas was 'supposed' to win. I haven't seen the fight since it happened, but they seemed pretty clear at the time.
