"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
i enjoyed it mate thanks
agree with the stoppage?
what happened with the first brewer count? i cant make it out, was echols hurt too?
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
No problem. This was a great tear up as Nigel Benn used to call em.
I do NOT agree with the stoppage. Brewer was hurt like that before in the Scott Pemberton fight and came back to win that one !
Echols slipped or was tripped during the first knockdown.
Brewer deserved a rematch, but Echols wanted no part of it.

Always Liked Brewer, extremely entertaining free swinger who lived and died by the sword.
Brewers best perfroemance was against Galzhaghe. That was a classic.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Read that Brewer did well against Calzaghe, and never knew he fought Herol Grahm. I'll have to watch both of those. Definately the Grahm fight. I can't stand Calzaghe.

Love to see brewer in the super six, is it me or punchers in the heavier weight divisions don't have snap any more....great fight
Yeah I think Ortega maybe stopped it too soon. I couldnt see Brewers face so maybe his eyes rolled over or something, but to let Echols come back from that 3 knockdown round, he should have gave Brewer the same chance. Both of those guys can bomb and dont necessarily have the best chins out there. Brewer probably should have gotten nods over Ottke, and a good fight of his is against Pemberton.
Herol Graham fought Brewer in his last ever fight and was 106 years old. Bomber had put on a good series of wins against an undefeated Canadian and Vinny Pazienza before he fought Brewer. In that fight Graham fought away from home, knocked down Charles, who injured his ankle as he went down. Brewer sucked it up and stopped Graham on the ropes. A younger version of Graham would have won the fight easily.

That was a cracking little punch-up. Terrible stoppage though. Think the ref panicked seeing his head snap back.
I was amazed Cazlaghe didn't drop Brewer at the time. Cazlaghe was known as a banger then and, as has been said, we'd seen ancient old Graham dropping Brewer. Entertaining fighter.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
