Yeshua, would not agree with that analogy for Earthly matters. He said you get what you earn and you die by what you live by, which means change or go by the same way you choose. Same with judgment of others;you get judged by the same measurement (rod)you judge others by. He also said not all who call on my name will be saved;that also points to real action and compassion for others being the true way, for the true believers.
