Hopkins chose to fight Kovalev for LESS instead of fighting Stevenson...because he knew Sergey was the EASIER fight.

So easy that he lost every round.

Hopkins felt Kovalev was less danger...that's why he fought him for LESS.

Losing every round is better than getting put to sleep....especially at his age.


Hopkins could have made way more fighting Stevenson in Canada

I think it is almost impossible to knock out Hopkins and I think he would have won more rounds against Stevenson.

Hopkins saw Stevenson as the bigger threat..that's why he chose Kovelev for LESS.

He saw Kovalev as the more winnable fight.
